Fuerteventura airport pick-up points
Fuerteventura Airport has one terminal, and every pick-up point is on Floor 0, the ground floor, a short walk from baggage reclaim. The one thing that catches people out is the bus: it does not leave from arrivals. Here is where each pick-up point is, as Aena and the bus operator state it, and how to reach it.
The 30-second version
Come out of baggage reclaim into the arrivals hall on Floor 0. A pre-booked driver meets you in arrivals; the taxi rank is outside arrivals and the car hire desks are in the arrivals zone. The Tiadhe buses (lines 3, 10 and 16) stop outside departures on the same floor, so walk along the front of the building to the check-in end, with cash ready. A friend collecting you should use the P1 car park, a minute from the terminal.

Main terminal
- Taxi
Terminal, Floor 0, Arrivals, at the signed taxi rank
Walk out of the arrivals hall to the rank. Aena advises taking a taxi only from the signed rank and avoiding drivers who offer rides from anywhere else, and asking for a receipt in case of a complaint. There are no fixed airport fares: a trip out of Puerto del Rosario runs on the Canary interurban meter, €3.85 minimum for the first 1.5 km and €1.35 a km from 06:00 to 22:00 on working days, €4.25 and €1.55 at night, on Sundays and on holidays, plus €2.10 for an airport pick-up. By our reckoning that is about €15 to Caleta de Fuste, €20 to Elba Palace and €55 to Corralejo by day. Aena lists +34 828 111 999 for taxi information.
- Pre-booked driver
Terminal, Floor 0, arrivals hall
Once through baggage reclaim and customs you come out into the arrivals hall, where a pre-booked driver waits with a name sign. Aena's signed meeting point is on Floor 0 too, in the departures hall, a sensible place to agree to meet if you lose each other. The tourist information desk is in the arrivals hall, on +34 636 833 156.
- Coach
Terminal, Floor 0, tour operators' desks in the arrivals hall
On a package holiday, look for your tour operator's desk on Floor 0 as you come out of the baggage hall; Aena lists seven tour operators with desks on Floor 0, and their staff direct you to your transfer.
- Bus
Terminal, Floor 0, outside departures (the 'Salidas' stop)
Turn along the front of the building from arrivals to the check-in end; the stop is outside departures, not arrivals. Line 3 runs two or three times an hour to Puerto del Rosario, Caleta de Fuste and Las Salinas (€1.45 from the capital to Caleta de Fuste), with the last buses with airport access leaving Puerto del Rosario at 23:00. Line 10 calls a few times a day on its way to Morro Jable (€9.70 from the capital), and line 16 runs to Gran Tarajal. For Corralejo, take line 3 into Puerto del Rosario and change to line 6; some weekday line 6 runs call at the airport itself, €3.90. Pay the driver in cash: Tiadhe takes no note above €50, nor one worth more than five times your fare, so carry coins and small notes.
- Car hire
Terminal, Floor 0, arrivals zone
Aena lists AutoReisen, Avis, Cicar, Europcar, Goldcar-InterRent, Hertz, Payless, Sixt and TopCar, all with desks in the arrivals zone on Floor 0. Sign at the desk and follow the staff's directions to the car. Returning it full, the petrol station at the airport is open from 06:00 to 22:00.
- Friends collecting you
P1 car park, a few metres from the terminal; the car park office is inside P1, opposite departures
P1 is Aena's car park here, with 945 places, about a minute's walk from the terminal. The ticket is issued automatically as your number plate is read at the barrier, with no booking needed, and you pay at the pay station before driving out; Aena Club members can pay in the Aena app instead. Headroom is 1.8 m, and there are electric car chargers.
Being picked up by a friend: where to wait and what to pay
Park in P1, the general car park a few metres from the terminal, and walk across to the arrivals hall on Floor 0 to meet your passenger. You need no booking: the barrier reads the number plate and issues the ticket, and you pay at the pay station on the way out, or in the Aena app as an Aena Club member, who also get 5% to 20% off stays without a booking.
Check the flight on the airport's screens or Aena's app before you set off, and allow for passport control and baggage reclaim on a flight from the UK.

Meeting a pre-booked driver
In the arrivals hall on Floor 0, as you come out of baggage reclaim and customs. A driver booked ahead follows your flight, so a delay costs nothing, and waits with your name. If you cannot see them, Aena's meeting point is in the departures hall on the same floor, and the virtual help desk in the arrivals hall puts you through on a live call to the airport's information staff.
For more help than a driver, Aena sells Meet & Assist here: staff meet you and escort you through the airport on arrival, departure or transit, from €149.45 for adults and from €186.81 for an unaccompanied minor. Book at least 72 hours ahead; Aena's agents then phone to agree the meeting point and time.
Late at night
Line 3 runs until late, with the last buses with airport access leaving Puerto del Rosario at 23:00 and Las Salinas at 23:15, or 22:00 on Sundays and holidays. After that, the taxi rank outside arrivals works at any hour on the night rate, €4.25 minimum and €1.55 a km plus the €2.10 airport supplement. For a long drive south to Jandía or Morro Jable after a late landing, a driver booked ahead is the easy answer.
Accessible pick-up
Yes. Aena's free assistance service starts from the information points and from signposted meeting points on the forecourt of the terminal, in the P1 car park, in the departures lounge and at boarding, as well as the Barrier Free desks. Request it at least 48 hours ahead through your airline or travel agent, Aena's website or app, or on +34 91 321 10 00 from 07:00 to midnight. Accessible toilets are on both floors, and airport staff recognise Aena's hidden disabilities badge.
