Which room to book at Sublime Lisboa
The Sublime Suite. It is the only category sold with a terrace or balcony over the rooftops, 41 to 51 square metres with a sitting room, a bath and a rain shower, and in a house with no pool that private outdoor space is what you are paying for. At 935 euros a night in April it costs more than twice the entry room, which is why the Lisboa Suite at 527 is the value in the building.

Why this one
The Sublime Suite is the only category sold with a terrace or balcony looking over the city's red roofs, and in a house with no pool that is the one piece of private outdoor space with a view. It is 41 to 51 square metres on the first and second floors, with a sitting room, a bath and a rain shower, and the hotel will set up a private dinner, a yoga class or a treatment on the terrace on request. For 20 to 22 April 2027, the lowest rate was 935 euros a night with breakfast; it was 986 in mid-February and 1,241 in early June. Both suite categories add free use of the Club 7 gym and, on stays of two nights or more, a one-way airport transfer for two, though the hotel says the transfer cannot be combined with other offers, so check that it survives a discounted rate.
The ladder under it is short and oddly shaped. The Pateo Room, 400 euros on the same April dates and 357 in winter, is the cheapest way to get outdoor space, because two of the three open onto a private courtyard. The Lisboa Room is where the risk sits: 502 euros for anything from 29 to 56 square metres. The Lisboa Suite was only 25 euros more than that in April, 59 more in February and the same price in mid-July, with the same gym access and transfer as the Sublime Suite and a size range that overlaps it. If 408 euros a night for a terrace is more than a terrace is worth to you, it is the smarter booking.
- Ask for
- Ask, in writing, for a Sublime Suite with a terrace rather than a balcony, since the category sells both under one name; the hotel's own romantic-dinner offer is set on the suite's private terrace. In a Pateo Room, ask for one of the two with the courtyard, and say whether you would rather have the one with the bath.
- Avoid
- Do not book a Lisboa Room blind. The category runs from 29 to 56 square metres across the ground and first floors, the rooms look onto the street, only two have a balcony, and guests report that some rooms are small. At 502 euros in April it is also only 25 euros short of a Lisboa Suite, which adds a sitting area, a bath as standard and the suite inclusions.
Suites against rooms
The two suite categories are closer than their prices. The Lisboa Suite is 32 to 56 square metres with a sitting area, velvet sofas, a bath and a rain shower; the Sublime Suite is 41 to 51 with a sitting room rather than an area, and the terrace or balcony. Both carry the same inclusions. On the April dates the gap between them was 408 euros a night, and in February 459, which is the price of the outdoor space and a guaranteed 41 square metres. If you would use the terrace every evening, pay it; if you will be out until midnight, take the Lisboa Suite.

Our verdict
For calm and discretion, nothing central competes. Book it when you want Lisbon at arm's length.
