Casa Velha sells five categories in three buildings, and the price ladder does not follow the size. The cheapest room, the Double Garden Wing, is a modern 28 m² double in the wing of 1997, renovated in 2023, with a walk-in shower and the gardens behind it. The Double Main House rooms in the 1804 house cost more and are smaller, from 12 to 23 m² with a shower only: you pay for the old house, not the space. The Double Golf Wing, in the two-storey wing of 1999, is the largest double at 32 m², the only double with a bath as well as a shower, and the one with floor-length rear windows towards the golf course. On the Tuesday in June it cost €409 against €398 for the old-house room and €318 for the Garden Wing, so the step up from the bottom is about €90 a night and the step across from the old house is €11.
Above the doubles the ladder jumps. The three Junior Suites in the old house are 52 m² and cost €659; the Senior Suites in the Golf Wing are 57 m² with a separate sitting room and a whirlpool bath for €763. Both are worth it for a special occasion, but for most couples the Golf Wing double buys the space, the bath and the garden outlook that matter, for far less.
