ONDA describes a single arrivals terminal at Marrakech Menara, so every arrival comes out through the same exit to the forecourt. Here is where each way into the city starts: the kech.cab taxi desk, the taxi station, the bus, a pre-booked driver or a friend in the car park, with what ONDA, the airport authority, says about each.
The 30-second version
For a taxi, follow the signs after baggage reclaim to the kech.cab desk at the exit of arrivals: pay the fixed fare for your destination by card or cash, scan the receipt at a kiosk and take the ticket with your taxi's number to the taxi station on the forecourt. A pre-booked driver or your hotel's car meets you as you come out of arrivals, so agree the meeting point and give your flight number. ONDA lists an airport bus every 20 minutes, with no published stop or hours, and a friend collecting you can wait in the car parks, from 5 dirhams for the first hour on ONDA's last published tariff.

After baggage reclaim, signs lead to the desk, staffed by people in uniform. Say where you are going and pay the fare, fixed by the authorities for each destination and shown in advance, by card or cash. Scan the receipt at one of the kiosks: it prints a ticket with your taxi's number and your place in the queue. The system runs 24 hours a day.

Where the registered taxis wait. Show your kech.cab ticket and find the car with your number; the cars carry a kech.cab tag and the drivers a badge. Staying in the Medina, tell the driver the gate or car park your riad names.

A private transfer or a hotel car meets you as you walk out of arrivals. ONDA publishes no dedicated meeting point, so agree it when you book, give your flight number, and keep the driver's phone number to hand in case the queues at passport control run long.

Outside arrivals: ONDA does not publish where the stop is, so ask airport staff
ONDA's airport page says a shuttle bus links the airport and the city every 20 minutes. The city's buses passed to a new operator, Supratours, in December 2025, and the airport line's number, fare and last departure are not published online, so check them at the stop.

Car parks 1, 2 and 3 at the terminal
ONDA lists three car parks with 740, 460 and 350 spaces. Its last published tariff for cars was 5 dirhams for up to an hour and 8 dirhams for 1 to 2 hours; a lost ticket costs 38 dirhams plus the parking time. A friend collecting you can wait here and walk to the arrivals exit.

ONDA lists Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz, Sixt and Aircar at Menara. It does not say where each desk is, so ask at the information desk or check your booking.
Being picked up by a friend: where to wait and what it costs
There is no free pick-up zone published by ONDA; a friend parks in one of the three car parks at the terminal and meets you at the arrivals exit. ONDA's last published tariff, for open-air car parking, runs from 5 dirhams for up to an hour to 38 dirhams for 12 to 24 hours.
Tell your friend to wait until you message from the baggage hall: passport control is the slow part, and ONDA's own figure is an average wait of under an hour since its 2025 changes.

Meeting a pre-booked driver or your riad's car
At the arrivals exit, where you agreed. A pre-booked private transfer tracks your flight and waits with your name; give your flight number when you book so a delay costs nothing. Many hotels send their own car: Royal Mansour's public rates booked direct include airport transfers both ways, Dar Kandi and Nobu Hotel Marrakech run paid transfers, and El Fenn, Dar Rhizlane, Fairmont Royal Palm, Palais Namaskar and Inara Camp arrange them.
Staying in the Medina, ask where the car will stop. At El Fenn it is Bab el Ksour, 5 metres from the door; at Dar Kandi a guarded car park nearby, where the riad's staff meet you and help with the bags.
Landing late at night
Yes. The kech.cab system runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so a late landing still means a fixed fare paid at the desk and a numbered taxi. The fare is shown before you pay. For a riad in the lanes, a car arranged by the riad, with someone to meet it at the gate, is the calmest way in after dark.
Accessible pick-up
ONDA says the airport has ramps and lifts for passengers with reduced mobility, and that airport staff and ground-handling agents are there to help. Book assistance through your airline when you book, and tell your driver or hotel if you need a car you can roll into. For a riad, check where the car stops: La Mamounia, Royal Mansour and La Villa des Orangers have a road to the door.
