Which room to book at Memmo Príncipe Real

The Superior Terrace City View Room. It has the same panorama as the Superior City View for about a tenth more, a square metre less inside, and the one thing no other room gives you: a terrace of your own with the full panorama, away from the diners on the pool deck.

  2. Exclusive Room

A private balcony with an outdoor fireplace, sold on the fire rather than a view. A winter room; the hotel claims no skyline for it.

Why this one

The ladder is short and flat. For 9 to 11 February 2027, non-refundable with breakfast, the four double rooms ran from 252 euros a night for the Superior Room to 297 for the Superior Terrace City View, and the Superior Two Bedroom was 324. The view is the cheapest thing in the building: 18 euros a night separates the Superior Room, which the hotel describes without one, from the Superior City View, and for 20 to 22 April 2027 the step was the same 18 euros, 333 to 351. The terrace adds 27 euros in February and 45 in April, for a room one square metre smaller, 25 against 26.

It earns that because of where the hotel keeps its outdoor space. The pool sits on the restaurant and bar terrace, open to the public from noon to eleven, so the only quiet seat with the view is one you pay for. Above the terrace rooms the ladder simply stops: there are no suites, the largest room is the 45 square metre Two Bedroom, and the Exclusive Room, with its fireplace balcony and no stated view, is a winter curiosity rather than a step up. The non-refundable rate is 10 percent below the flexible one.

Ask for
Ask for a terrace room at the end of the row. In the hotel's own photographs the terraces run side by side on one level below the pool deck, separated by low stone blocks rather than walls, so an end room has one neighbour instead of two. The hotel says it will note a floor or room request but guarantees neither. In a City View room, ask for a higher floor, and in the four double categories ask for twin beds when you book if you need them, because twins are subject to availability.
Avoid
The Superior Room, which the hotel describes by its finishes and not by any view, at 18 euros a night less than a City View. And check what your rate includes: the hotel's FAQ says it sells room-only rates as well as bed and breakfast.

Suites against rooms

There are none. The largest room is the Superior Two Bedroom, 45 square metres with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a balcony with a partial city view, at 324 euros a night for 9 to 11 February 2027 and 423 for 20 to 22 April, non-refundable with breakfast. It is also the only category offered to three guests, or to two adults with a baby.
