Which room to book at Bvlgari Hotel Roma
The Premium Room. At 49 square metres it is 16 more than the entry Superior, and on January 2027 rates it cost about 550 euros a night more, while the Junior Suite above it, two square metres bigger, cost 770 more again. Space is what this ladder sells, and the Premium is where a night buys the most of it.

Sixteen more square metres than the entry room, and the lowest price per square metre from the Superior to the Junior Suite. No stated outlook, so ask.

Only two of them, finished with vintage Bvlgari advertisements, and no outlook stated. Seven square metres more than a Junior Suite for a large step.

Deluxe Suite
Twelve of them, all onto the Piazza. The first rung where the outlook is a promise rather than a request.

Why this one
The three room grades are 33, 37 and 49 square metres, and the money does not rise with the floor area. For 14 to 16 January 2027, per night for two with taxes, on a rate that included breakfast (breakfast depends on the rate, so check what yours includes), the Superior was 2,000 euros, the Deluxe 2,220 and the Premium 2,550: 220 euros for four square metres, then 330 for twelve. Per square metre the Premium is the cheapest of the four grades from the Superior to the Junior Suite, about 52 euros a night against 61 for the Superior and 60 for the Deluxe. It comes in the same four colour palettes and the same Mediterranean marble as the entry room, so what you give up is nothing and what you gain is a room you can live in for three days.
Above the Premium the ladder turns from space to names. The Junior Suite is 51 square metres, two more than the Premium, and cost 3,320 on the same dates: 770 more for the word suite and a stated outlook onto the Piazza or Via della Frezza. The Superior Suite adds seven square metres and about 990 euros again, with no outlook stated at all. The rungs where the hotel commits to a view are the Deluxe Suites at 81 square metres and the Premium Suites at 133, both published as facing the Piazza, and the Bvlgari Suite on the third floor with ten windows on the tomb. Below those, the outlook is a request, and the Premium is the rung where the request costs least.
- Ask for
- Ask for a Premium facing Piazza Augusto Imperatore and the Mausoleum rather than Via della Frezza, and for a high floor, because the Bvlgari Bar's terraces run until 1am below. The hotel publishes no outlook for the Premium, so make the request in writing before you pay, and ask whether pool and spa use is included in your rate.
- Avoid
- Avoid booking a Superior or a Premium on the assumption that it faces the square, since neither page says a word about outlook. Avoid the Junior Suite as an upgrade from the Premium: two square metres for roughly 770 euros a night. And do not take the Serpenti Suite for a bigger room; the hotel says over 81 square metres, and its 106 rooms and suites only add up if the Serpenti is one of the twelve Deluxe Suites.
Suites against rooms
The suite ladder has one trap and one prize. The trap is the Superior Suite: 58 square metres, two of them, finished with vintage Bvlgari advertisements and sold without any stated outlook, at about 990 euros a night more than a Junior Suite on January rates. The Deluxe Suite a rung up is 81 square metres and published as facing the Piazza, the first point in the ladder where the view is a promise.
The prize is the Bvlgari Suite, 300 square metres on the third floor with the Mausoleum through ten windows, and the only category whose page reads like a house: a master bedroom with a walk-in closet, a steam shower and a bath cut from a single block of arabesque Corchia marble in the shape of the Baths of Caracalla, a private kitchen, its own bar counter, and a dining room around a Mangiarotti marble table set with Gio Ponti's 1930s Ginori plates. The hotel says it can be enlarged by joining the suites next door; no rate for it is shown online.

Our verdict
Book it for the natatio and the spa above all, and for a building that says exactly what it is. Rome has older and warmer hotels for less money; this one is for a guest who wants the pool, the marble and the address, and will pay for them.
