Heathrow's departure halls are big, bright and rarely quiet. Step through the doors of a Plaza Premium Lounge and the noise drops away: armchairs and sofas, TVs showing the news and sport, flight screens so you never have to watch the clock, and fast Wi-Fi with charging points for a last bit of work.
The food is freshly prepared and seasonal, with cooked breakfasts and pastries in the morning and hot and cold dishes through the day, with house beer and wine in the Terminal 2, 4 and 5 lounges and premium drinks to buy at the bar. Guests keep coming back to how calm it feels early in the morning, with plenty of free seats and friendly, unhurried staff.
If you have a long flight ahead, the showers are the reason to choose it. In Terminal 2 there are private resting suites too, and in Terminals 4 and 5 the windows look straight out over the runway.

- Tips
Why this lounge
In Terminals 2 and 5, Plaza Premium is the pay-in lounge with showers: the No1 Lounge in Terminal 2 and Club Aspire in Terminal 5 have none. In Terminal 4 it is the main lounge and stays open until 22:00, later than most at Heathrow, and in Terminal 5 it becomes the only independent lounge open once Club Aspire closes for its rebuild on 16 November 2026.
This pass also gives you more time than a lounge card: three or six hours, where Priority Pass members are held to two. Book the six-hour option for a long connection, and pay nothing today if you prefer to reserve now and pay later.

Before you book
Showers depend on the terminal
Showers are in select lounges and subject to availability. Terminal 5 has only one shower room, on a first-come, first-served basis, and showers in Terminal 4 are not included in this pass.
What to do. If a shower matters most, fly from Terminal 2 if you can, and in Terminal 5 ask for the shower as soon as you arrive.
Peak times can mean a short wait
The listing warns that the lounge may be busy in the peak travel season and that you may be put on a waiting list.
What to do. Book the six-hour option or arrive early in your slot in the summer holidays, so a short queue does not eat into your stay.
Your own terminal only
Heathrow's terminals are not connected airside, so you can only use the lounge in the terminal you fly from.
What to do. Check your departure terminal on your booking before you choose the option.
