Something different
Can't decide?
Two of a kind, side by side: who each suits, what each costs, and when to do both.
- Capri by boat: from Positano or from Amalfi? In Positano or Praiano, the Positano day: the Blue Grotto and an extra hour on Capri are worth the drive to the boat. In Amalfi, Ravello, Scala or Minori, the Amalfi boat: it leaves from your own harbour and costs 32 euros less, 60 less once the grotto and the landing fee are counted.
- Pompeii from the Amalfi Coast: half day or with Vesuvius? For Pompeii alone, the half day: the same two hours with the same operator's archaeologist, back by lunch or teatime, for about 120 euros less. For a first visit that wants the whole story, the full day: the crater and the winery lunch make the extra hours count.
How we hand-pick them
The way we pick hotels. First, the experiences worth a day of your trip. Then, for each, we compare the versions on sale, read the fine print and the reviews that complain, check the weather month by month and work out the drive from our hotels, and keep only the one we would book. None of them pays to be here.
If you book through our links we may earn a commission from GetYourGuide. It never affects which experiences we include. Operators cannot pay to be here.
