Nice airport pick-up points, for Monaco

Everyone bound for Monaco lands at Nice Côte d'Azur, and almost every way onward starts a few minutes' walk from arrivals. Here is where each one waits, terminal by terminal, from the taxi rank and the ride-app zone to bus 80, the train, car hire and the Monacair desk for the seven-minute helicopter.

The 30-second version

In both terminals the official taxis wait at entrance A3, with a flat €95 to Monaco. Uber and other ride apps collect from the Parking Pro area, at exit D4 in Terminal 1 and exit A3 in Terminal 2. Flying on by helicopter, go to the Monacair desk in the arrivals area of your terminal about 20 minutes before departure. A friend collecting you gets five free minutes in the Kiss & Fly, then €4.90 up to 15 minutes.

Picked up by helicopter: the Monacair desk

Monacair has a desk and a small lounge in the arrivals area of both terminals, so there is no need to change terminal. Arrive about 20 minutes before departure; staff take the bags and escort you to the helicopter, transfer included. The regular line leaves every 30 minutes from 8.15am until the last flight before nightfall, from €195 a person, about seven minutes in the air.

Luggage is the limit: one cabin-size suitcase and a small personal item each, with an extra case on some fares. Everyone needs valid ID for the Monaco heliport. On landing, an electric van takes you anywhere in the principality, included. Heading home, Monacair's driver collects you in Monaco 30 minutes before the flight, and with only a cabin bag and a boarding pass you can be dropped straight at your boarding area at Nice, skipping the security queue.

The taxi fare rules

The prefecture's 2026 order sets four flat fares from the airport, and Monaco is €95. The flat rate covers Monaco only: Roquebrune-Cap-Martin and Èze run on the meter, where the airport's indicative fares give Beaulieu-sur-Mer and Villefranche €55–60 by day and €65–90 at night, and Menton €100–110 by day. Night rates apply from 6pm to 9am and on Sundays and holidays. Supplements are €2 for the fourth case, €4 for a fifth passenger and 10% on icy roads; motorway tolls are paid only with passengers aboard. The price list must be on display, and a receipt is compulsory for fares of €25 or more.

Meeting a pre-booked driver

Professional drivers are barred from the Kiss & Fly, so go to the meeting point in your booking confirmation rather than the kerb. For a full escort, the airport's own meet and greet takes you from the aircraft through border control to your car or the helicopter desk: from €210 for two passengers with two bags, €70 per extra passenger, 20% more from 10pm to 7am.

Late at night

After dark the helicopter is not flying and the last bus 80 leaves Terminal 2 at 10pm. Coast trains run every 30 minutes until 11.30pm on weekdays, later at weekends. After that, the taxi rank at A3 or a pre-booked driver.
