The Jury Experience: The Deadly Boat Ride
Roulette, Downtown Brooklyn
4.6/5
About 30 reviews on Fever
One murder case under three names: a politician's son on trial after a fatal night on the family speedboat. 60 minutes, you are the jury. Roulette, Brooklyn, 6 November 2026; New York Society for Ethical Culture, 9 January 2027.
Fever sells this case under three names in New York, and it is worth saying plainly. At Roulette in Downtown Brooklyn on 6 November 2026 it is The Deadly Boat Ride: Will New York Deliver Justice?; at the New York Society for Ethical Culture on 9 January 2027 it is Death on the Port Side; and Fever titles both pages Murder on Board. Both listings carry the same case, The Deadly Boat Ride, word for word, so book one date, not both. The Killer AI is the different trial.
On a summer night the son of a powerful politician takes the family speedboat out with an ex-lover and old friends aboard. Hours later one is dead, one is in a coma, and he faces a murder charge. Fever asks whether it was jealous rage or something more. This is the series in its classic form: you weigh testimony and exhibits, vote on your phone at key moments and deliver the final verdict. Fever's content notes are wider than for The Killer AI: crime, violence, grief, substance use, domestic violence, medical injury and emotional manipulation. Doors and zones are covered in our full guide to The Jury Experience in New York.
The two venues play differently. Roulette, a performance space founded in 1978 on Atlantic Avenue, sells a balcony as well as Zones A to C, and its date is the only one with reviews: 4.6 from 30 on Fever on 29 October 2026, with praise for voting several times through the show and for the actors. The Society for Ethical Culture is an Art Nouveau meeting house in the Central Park West Historic District, with a circular hall around a central platform that suits a courtroom; it sells three zones from 56.16 dollars, and The Plaza is a 14-minute walk away.
