Orlando airport lounges: every lounge at MCO

Orlando International has six lounges, and which one you can use depends almost entirely on your terminal. Terminals A and B share a building and four airsides, each behind its own checkpoint; Terminal C, where the flights to Britain and Europe now leave, has one lounge of its own. Here is every lounge, with access and prices as the operators publish them.

The short answer

Flying from Terminal C, the Plaza Premium Lounge by Gate 241 is the only lounge, open to every passenger and to Priority Pass and Amex Platinum. From gates 1–29 or 70–99 in the main building, book The Club MCO at $63.90 a person including tax; both take Priority Pass and have a kids' area, but only the gates 70–99 branch has a shower. Delta, American and United each run a club for their own eligible passengers.

Is a lounge worth it at MCO?

On the evening flights home to Europe from Terminal C, often yes: the Plaza Premium Lounge has showers, a family area and runway windows, and it is open until 9pm. In the main building, The Club MCO at $63.90 a head makes most sense for a couple or a family with a long wait, since both branches have a kids' area and a bar.

The catch is the hours. Both Club MCO lounges and the Plaza Premium Lounge close at 9pm, so a late departure may find them shut.

Three: The Club MCO at gates 1–29, The Club MCO at gates 70–99 and the Plaza Premium Lounge in Terminal C, where Priority Pass members may stay two hours. Priority Pass also lists XpresSpa in Terminal B.

American Express lists four lounges here for Platinum Card members: both branches of The Club MCO, the Delta Sky Club when flying Delta, and the Plaza Premium Lounge.

Lounges for families

Orlando's lounges are built for families more than most. Both Club MCO branches have a kids' area and let under-2s in free, and the Plaza Premium Lounge in Terminal C has a separate children's play area and a games room, with under-2s free on Priority Pass. Outside the lounges, Terminal C has the Flybrary reading nook after security near gate 240.

Pick the lounge by your gates

Lounges in the main building sit behind the checkpoint for their airside, and the Gate Links between airsides can close to transfers, so choose by your gate number: The Club for gates 1–29, the Admirals Club and United Club for 30–59, The Club and the Delta Sky Club for 70–99. Terminal C is a separate building; from there, a lounge in A or B means clearing security twice, and the reverse is true too.
