Moonshine Saloon is an immersive cocktail bar from Inventive Productions, the company behind the prison-themed Alcotraz, at 28-30 Houndsditch in the City, between Liverpool Street and Aldgate. Fever labels it a Fever exclusive, and the saloon's own site says official tickets are sold only on Fever. The story: you are new recruits to Clyde Cassidy's bootlegging empire, smuggling liquor past the Sheriff into his saloon.
The twist is that you bring the alcohol. Each guest arrives with spirit for the bar team, and the producer suggests a 35cl bottle for two people or 70cl for four, of a base spirit such as vodka, gin, rum, tequila or whisky, new and sealed; opened bottles are turned away. Wine or beer is fine too. Inside, the town's tailor fits you out with a Stetson and Western clothes, and the barkeeps turn your bottle into three or four rounds of cocktails, with all the liqueurs, bitters, syrups, juices and garnishes included in the ticket.
Then the saloon comes to life. Actors play the locals and the Sheriff, there are card and dice games at the tables, and if you keep Cassidy's secrets you may be shown his distillery. For a birthday or a stag or hen party, Fever sells a Become a Character add-on: the guest of honour plays the Deputy Sheriff, the Brothel Keeper or the Mayor, with a costume. No food is served.
Every booking lasts 1 hour 45 minutes. The saloon's own timetable is 19:05 Tuesday to Thursday, 19:05 and 21:30 on Fridays, 12:00, 14:15, 16:40, 19:05 and 21:30 on Saturdays, and 14:15 on Sundays; there is nothing on Mondays. On 30 October 2026 Fever had sessions on sale to 31 December 2026, with the cheapest tickets on weekday evenings, Sunday afternoons and the Saturday noon slot.
Why this one
This is the cocktail night to book if you want a show as well as a drink. It held 4.7 from 1,384 reviews on Fever on 30 October 2026, and recent reviews keep returning to actors who stay in character all night, cocktails that are better than expected, and how quickly a group gets drawn in; more than one mentions a birthday, and one a proposal. Because you bring the spirit, the ticket pays for the mixing, the costume and the show: 41.04 pounds with fees for a Rookie ticket at the quieter times.
Prices on Fever on 30 October 2026, fee included: Rookie 41.04 pounds on Tuesday to Thursday evenings, Sunday at 14:15 and Saturday at 12:00; 47.52 pounds on Friday at 21:30 and Saturday at 14:15 and 21:30; 50.76 pounds on Friday and Saturday at 19:05 and Saturday at 16:40. The Bandit ticket adds a cocktail from the secret distillery, from 51.84 pounds, and the Outlaw adds sweets and a take-home set of playing cards and dice, from 58.86 pounds. Booking direct is not an option: the saloon's site says Fever is the only official seller.
The closest rival is the same company's Alcotraz, the prison version, listed on DesignMyNight from 39.22 to 69 pounds with sessions from 30 October 2026. Choose Alcotraz for the jailbreak theme; choose Moonshine Saloon for the costumes and for being a few minutes' walk from Liverpool Street and The Ned.
If you would rather eat, our murder-mystery dinner, The Murdér Express, is a short taxi ride away near Shoreditch. For a cheaper laugh, our comedy night, Soho Comedy Factory, is from 10 pounds.

The catch
Bring the right bottle

Eat first
No food is served, and you will drink three or four cocktails in under two hours.
What to do. Have dinner before an evening session, or book an afternoon slot and eat afterwards.
Do not be late
Admission stops 15 minutes after the start time, and the producer asks guests to bring ID.
What to do. Allow time for the walk from Liverpool Street or Aldgate, and keep your ID with your ticket.
Change dates in good time
Changes are allowed up to 48 hours before, subject to availability, and there are no refunds. Tickets can be transferred free in the Fever app.
What to do. If plans move, ask for a new date before the 48-hour cut-off or pass the ticket on.
