Why this one
The house sells two categories, and they differ in two ways: three square metres and the window. The Charm Room with City View is 17 square metres; the Superior Room with River View is 20 and looks at the Douro. Both have one double bed, a desk, a minibar, air conditioning and a shower, and the hotel describes every room as individual, with stone or tiled walls and details such as an imposing fireplace turned into a headboard. For 9 to 11 February 2027, the early-booking rate with breakfast was 159 euros a night for a Charm room and 198 for a Superior, which puts a price of 39 euros a night on the view.
The ladder is short, and it stretches with the calendar rather than with the room. For 20 to 22 April 2027 the same two categories were 301 and 385 euros a night, so the view costs 84 euros a night in spring against 39 in February, and on the night of São João, 23 June 2027, a Superior was 410. There is nothing above the Superior, no suite and no room for a third person, so the only other choice is the rate: take one with breakfast, and on these dates the early-booking rate was cheaper than the non-refundable one.
