Candlelight: Ed Sheeran & Coldplay

Central Hall Westminster, Westminster

4.6/5

About 573 reviews on Fever

A string quartet plays seven Coldplay songs and five by Ed Sheeran, from Fix You to Perfect, for 60 minutes by candlelight at Central Hall Westminster. Three dates to 9 January 2027, from 23.10 pounds with fees.

Coldplay and Ed Sheeran share this programme, and it holds 4.6 from 573 reviews on Fever on 30 October 2026. The Coldplay half runs from Clocks and The Scientist through Fix You, Viva la Vida and Adventure of a Lifetime to A Sky Full of Stars, plus Something Just Like This, the band's 2017 single with The Chainsmokers. The Ed Sheeran half has Photograph, Give Me Love, Bad Habits, Shivers and Perfect, which was the UK Christmas number one in 2017, according to Wikipedia.

These are songs most people can hum, so on two violins, viola and cello the tune stays clear without the voice. A featured review on Fever's listing mentions the quartet encouraging the audience to sing along to Viva la Vida. It is a tribute; Fever says it is not associated with or endorsed by either artist, and the quartet is to be announced.

The dates are 31 October 2026 at 18:30, 5 December 2026 at 21:00 and 9 January 2027 at 21:00. The January night is the cheapest, with restricted-view seats at 23.10 pounds and Zone C, the middle of the balcony and the zone we would book, at 39.90. Central Hall, finished in 1911 facing Westminster Abbey, is about 6 minutes by taxi from Hazlitt's and Artist Residence London. For Coldplay alone, Fever plays a full Coldplay tribute in the same hall on 13 February 2027. For doors, zones and how the evening runs, see our full guide to Candlelight in London.
