Palma de Mallorca Airport pick-up points
Palma has one terminal, and almost everything that collects you does so on Floor 0, the arrivals level: the taxi rank, the bus stop, Uber and the other drivers Aena licenses, and the car-hire desks. Friends collecting you have a short-stay express car park with 15 free minutes. This page sets out each pick-up point as Aena and the operators describe it, and how to reach it from the arrivals hall.
The 30-second version
Walk out of baggage reclaim into the arrivals hall on Floor 0 and everything is on that level. Taxis wait at the signed rank outside arrivals; Uber and the other licensed driver services pick up outside the terminal building on the same floor; the A1 bus to Palma (€5, 05:30 to about 03:10) and TIB's resort buses leave from the arrivals stop. A friend collecting you should use the arrivals express car park, free for 15 minutes, and meet you at the seated meeting point in the centre of the hall.

Main terminal, Floor 0 (arrivals)
- Taxi
Terminal, Floor 0, Arrivals: the signed taxi rank outside the arrivals hall
Leave the arrivals hall by the main doors and follow the taxi signs. Aena advises taking a taxi only from the signed rank and ignoring drivers offering rides from other points. Taxis run on Mallorca's official meter: €2.50 flag fall and €1.20 a km on weekdays from 07:00 to 21:00, €2.85 and €1.35 at night, at weekends and on holidays, plus a €4.65 airport supplement, with a minimum fare from the airport of €16.95. Luggage and paying by card cost nothing extra. Ask for a receipt if you want to complain.
- Uber and ride apps
Floor 0, outside the terminal building, Arrivals
Aena lists Uber among its licensed vehicles with driver, with the pick-up point outside the terminal building on Floor 0, at arrivals. Book in the app once you have your bags and meet the car outside on the same level.
- Pre-booked driver
Meeting point in the centre of the arrivals floor, opposite Aena's information office; cars collect outside the terminal on Floor 0
A pre-booked driver usually waits in the arrivals hall with a name sign. If you cannot see yours, go to Aena's meeting point in the centre of the arrivals floor, opposite the information office, which has seats. Aena lists Raicars, Salty Driver and Transfer Class among the chauffeured services whose pick-up point is outside the terminal building on Floor 0, at arrivals.
- Coach
Floor 0, outside the terminal building, Arrivals
Aena lists the coach firms Autocares Marqués and Roig Bus among its vehicles with driver, picking up outside the terminal on Floor 0 at arrivals. For a package-holiday coach, follow your tour operator's instructions for the bay and the meeting time.
- Bus
Terminal, Floor 0, Arrivals: the bus stop for EMT lines A1, A2 and 34 and TIB lines A11, A32, A42 and A51
EMT's A1 runs from 05:30 until about 03:10, every 15 minutes on weekdays and every 12 at weekends for most of the day to Plaça d'Espanya and Passeig de Mallorca, about 25 minutes. It carries only airport passengers and costs €5, in cash or by contactless card. EMT's A2 runs to S'Arenal on the same €5 airport fare, and line 34 to Son Espases hospital. TIB's A11 runs all year to Palmanova, Santa Ponça and Peguera; the A32 to Alcúdia and Can Picafort, A42 to Cala Millor and Cala Bona and A51 to Llucmajor and Campos are seasonal and in 2026 run until 31 October. On TIB, tap a contactless bank card in and out, or pay the driver in cash.
- Car hire
Desks in the arrivals hall on Floor 0 (Europcar, Record Go and Sixt also in the baggage reclaim hall); cars in the car park on Floors 0 to 2
Aena lists Avis-Budget (cars on Floor 2 of the car park), Europcar, Goldcar and Hertz (Floor 1), OK Mobility (Floors 0 and 2), and Record Go and Sixt (Floor 0). Do the paperwork at the desk, then walk to the car park beside the terminal and find your firm's floor.
- Friends collecting you
Arrivals express car park, with immediate access to the arrivals area
The easiest place for a friend to collect you. The first 15 minutes are free; after that the whole stay is charged from the moment the car entered, at the current rate, up to a maximum stay of two hours. Under 15 minutes, drive straight to the exit without validating the ticket. Over two hours, the daily maximum is charged and the car may be towed.
Main terminal, Floor 2 (departures) and the general car park
- Bus
Terminal, Floor 2, Departures: EMT stop for lines A1, A2 and 34
The EMT airport buses stop at departures on Floor 2 before arrivals. TIB's resort lines stop at arrivals only.
- Friends collecting you
Departures express car park, with immediate access to the departures area
Built for dropping off. Each vehicle gets two free sessions a day of up to 10 minutes each; go straight to the exit without using the machine. A third visit, or more than 10 minutes, is charged from the first minute at the current rate, and the two-hour maximum stay applies.
- Friends collecting you
General car park, opposite the terminal; a tunnel and moving walkway link its level four to the terminal building
For a longer wait, park here and walk through to the terminal. It is open 24 hours, on three floors for customers, with pay machines on the ground floor and on levels three, four and six, and an Aena information point on Floor 4.
Being picked up by a friend: where to wait and what it costs
Yes, for a quarter of an hour. The arrivals express car park gives 15 minutes free, which is enough if your friend times it to your message from baggage reclaim. Go over 15 minutes and the whole stay is charged at the current rate from entry, not just the extra minutes, and after two hours the daily maximum is charged and the car may be towed. Aena does not publish the per-minute rate on its page.
The departures express car park works differently: two free sessions a day, each of up to 10 minutes, then charged from the first minute. For a longer or uncertain wait, the general car park opposite the terminal is the calmer choice.
Meet inside at Aena's meeting point in the centre of the arrivals floor, opposite the information office, where there are seats.
- Arrivals express car park
- 15 minutes free; two hours maximum
- Departures express car park
- two free sessions a day, 10 minutes each
- Meeting point
- centre of the arrivals floor, opposite information
Meeting a pre-booked driver
In the arrivals hall on Floor 0, usually with a sign, and if you miss each other the meeting point in the centre of the hall, opposite Aena's information office, is the place to wait. The car itself collects outside the terminal on Floor 0, the point Aena gives for all its licensed vehicles with driver. A driver booked ahead follows your flight, so a delay does not change the plan.
Late at night
The A1 runs until about 03:10, every 20 minutes until 01:15 and hourly after that, and the taxi rank on Floor 0 serves late flights. Night fares apply on the meter from 21:00 to 07:00: €2.85 flag fall and €1.35 a km, with the same €4.65 airport supplement. Three of TIB's four resort lines are seasonal and end on 31 October in 2026, so for a late landing outside Palma, book a driver or take a taxi.
Accessible pick-up
A taxi for people with reduced mobility can be called on +34 971 703 529. Aena's assistance service meets passengers at signposted points in the car park, on the arrivals forecourt and in check-in; request it at least 48 hours ahead through your airline, Aena's website or app, or on +34 91 321 10 00. The express car parks have adapted spaces for people with reduced mobility.
