Paris Charles de Gaulle lounges: every lounge by terminal

Charles de Gaulle has more than a dozen lounges, but most belong to an airline or a group of airlines, and once you are through security you can only use one in your own departure hall. Here is every lounge Paris Aéroport lists, in terminal order, with who gets in, the price where one is published, the hours and the one we would choose.

The short answer

Paying your own way, book an Extime Lounge: Terminal 1 or halls 2B and 2D, from €95 an adult and €47.50 a child online, with a buffet and showers. Flying Air France from 2E, 2F or 2G without access, buy the €90 Lounge Option on the day, subject to space. Is a lounge worth it at Charles de Gaulle?

At €95 an adult online, an Extime Lounge earns its price on a long wait, an early start or with a family who would otherwise buy breakfast and drinks in the terminal: a hot and cold buffet, wine and champagne, wifi and a quiet seat, and for €20 more a shower before an overnight flight. For under an hour before boarding it is harder to justify, since part of that hour goes on the walk to the gate.

Flying Air France from 2E, 2F or 2G, where there is no Extime Lounge, the €90 Lounge Option is the better buy. It is sold subject to space, so on a busy evening it may not be offered.

Extime Lounge, adult
From €95 online, €115 with shower
Extime Lounge, child
From €47.50 online
Air France Lounge Option
€90 or 18,000 miles

Lounges for families

Both Extime Lounges have a children's area with games and a TV, charge half the adult rate for a child and are step-free. In the Air France lounges, La Première passengers can bring children under 12 and Platinum members children under 18. At YotelAir and Instant Paris, under-twos are free with Priority Pass.

With Priority Pass

Only at YotelAir and Instant Paris, after security in hall L of Terminal 2E, open 24 hours, for non-Schengen departing and transit passengers. A flight to London, New York or Dubai qualifies; one to Rome or Madrid does not. The stay is limited to three hours, and the Air France lounges do not take lounge membership cards.

Booking rules and when the lounge is full

Extime Lounge bookings open 60 days ahead, are paid online only and guarantee entry from three hours before departure once the lounge confirms by email; bring the confirmation, your boarding pass and ID. Cancelling more than 24 hours ahead is free, and an unused booking is charged in full. A same-day delay from the same terminal keeps the booking valid, subject to space. The Air France option is never guaranteed, so have a restaurant in mind as a fallback.
