Why this one

At the bottom of the ladder the question is the window, not the floor area. The Executive Room is about 40 m² on the courtyard, and the Deluxe Room adds 5 m² with the courtyard or the Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré outside, the choice left to the hotel. The garden is what makes Le Bristol, and it is sold by name. For Tuesday 23 February 2027 the Deluxe Room was priced at €2,207, the Deluxe Room with garden view at €2,302 and the Deluxe Room with balcony at €2,397: €95 for the garden and €95 more for a balcony above it, at the same 45 m². No cheaper step on the ladder changes the stay as much, which is why it is the pick.

Above it, more money buys space before it buys the garden. The Prestige rooms at 50 m² go back to the courtyard or the street, balcony or not. The Junior Suites at 55 m² split four ways, and the Junior Suite with balcony, over the garden, was priced at the same €2,967 that night as the plain Junior Suite and below the garden-view version, which makes it the suite to take for the garden and a sitting area. From the 75 m² Prestige Junior Suite the suites add a separate living room, and the signature suites add dining rooms, terraces or a private hammam.

Ask for
Ask which building the room is in: the category runs across the Résidence wing, built on the garden side in the 1980s, and the original 1925 building, so ask if the period building matters to you. With children, ask for the interconnecting room when you book, which the hotel lists as available on request for this category.
Avoid
The Superior Room for two, since it is sold for one guest with a queen bed. The Executive Room and the plain Deluxe Room if the outlook matters, because both may face the courtyard and the Deluxe may face the street. The Prestige Room with balcony if you are picturing the garden: its balcony is over the courtyard or the Faubourg. And do not count on the pool for an Eiffel Tower view; that view belongs to Suite 1925, Suite Paris and Suite Honeymoon.

Suites against rooms

Two are worth singling out below the signature level. The Junior Suite with balcony gives you about 55 m², the garden and a balcony, and on the February night it cost no more than the plain Junior Suite. Suite Magnolia, about 90 m² in the original building, has its own entrance and a terrace on the garden shaded by an old magnolia, with a table outside.

The signature suites are Présidentielle, Lumière, Princière, Royale, Impériale, Azur, Eden, Panoramique, Penthouse, Paris and Honeymoon. They run from 110 m² to 350 m², and each adds a dining room, a terrace or a private hammam. For the Eiffel Tower, the suites that sell it are Suite 1925 on the seventh floor, Suite Honeymoon on the eighth and Suite Paris.

Our verdict

Le Bristol is the grand Paris hotel to bring children to, with a garden, a pool and a three-star kitchen under one roof. Pay for the garden side, and plan your dinners around Epicure's Tuesday to Saturday hours.
