Candlelight: Coldplay vs. Ed Sheeran

Institut National des Jeunes Aveugles, Invalides, 7th arrondissement

4.7/5

About 197 reviews on Fever

A pianist alternates Coldplay and Ed Sheeran, from Clocks to Perfect, for about 60 minutes by candlelight at the Institut National des Jeunes Aveugles in the 7th. Two evenings, 13 November 2026 and 8 January 2027, from 39.38 euros with fees.

This programme sets Coldplay and Ed Sheeran side by side, on solo piano. Fever lists seven Coldplay pieces and five by Ed Sheeran: Clocks, Fix You, The Scientist, Viva la Vida and Sky Full of Stars on one side, Perfect, Photograph, Shivers, Bad Habits and Give Me Love on the other, plus Adventure of a Lifetime and Something Just Like This, the 2017 single Coldplay made with The Chainsmokers. Clocks, from A Rush of Blood to the Head, is built around a piano riff, Wikipedia notes, so it sits naturally on the one instrument. It was rated 4.7 from 197 reviews on Fever on 30 October 2026, and Fever says plainly that it is a tribute, not associated with or endorsed by either artist.

Maxime Zecchini plays on 13 November 2026, at 19:30; Fever has not yet named the pianist for 8 January 2027, a later start at 21:30. The room is the Institut National des Jeunes Aveugles on Boulevard des Invalides, the national school for blind young people that Valentin Haüy founded in 1785 and where Louis Braille studied, Wikipedia notes, in a building finished in 1844. It holds most of Fever's piano evenings in Paris, and seating comes in two zones plus Premium.

Zone B is the one we would book: 39.38 euros on 13 November,. Mandarin Oriental Lutetia, Paris is a 14-minute walk away. For doors, zones and the rest of the format, see our full guide to Candlelight in Paris.
