Circa Resort & Casino vs SAHARA Las Vegas

Cheapest midweek, and the middle of the Strip is a ride from either. Circa, from about $170, if you are all 21 or over and want Stadium Swim's six heated pools every day of the year on Fremont Street; SAHARA, from about $55, if you would rather have free parking, its own Monorail station and a pool open to all ages in season.

Circa Resort & Casino

Downtown's adults-only party resort, where six heated pools face a screen 135 feet wide every day of the year.

$From about $170 a night

Choose Circa Resort & Casino if

  • Pool days with the game on
  • Sports weekends with friends
  • Birthdays and bachelorette weekends
  • Old Vegas on Fremont Street

The catch

A $50 nightly resort fee plus tax goes on every room, and weekends cost far more than midweek: in the week of 18 May 2027 a Single King was $169 on the Tuesday, $479 on the Friday and $579 on the Saturday, before tax and the fee.

SAHARA Las Vegas: A Blanca King in blue and beigeThe smart money

SAHARA Las Vegas

The north end of the Strip, renovated: a refreshed casino, a new pool and porte-cochère, free parking, its own Monorail station and rooms from about $55 midweek.

$From about $55 a night

Choose SAHARA Las Vegas if

  • Conventions at the LVCC
  • Midweek trips on a budget
  • Drivers who want free parking
  • Monorail riders

The catch

It is the far north end of the Strip. From the Strip entrance the Bellagio fountains are about 50 minutes' walk and the LINQ Promenade about 46, so plan on the Monorail, whose station is at the back of the resort, or a car.

Good questions about Circa Resort & Casino vs SAHARA Las Vegas

Circa Resort & Casino or SAHARA Las Vegas?

Cheapest midweek, and the middle of the Strip is a ride from either. Is Circa Resort & Casino worth it?

Book Circa for Stadium Swim, a heated, adults-only pool that opens every day of the year in front of a screen 135 feet wide, with old downtown outside the door. Take a Corner Studio on the quiet north side and come midweek, when rooms start at about $170. A loud, adults-only resort where the pool is the day's entertainment and Fremont Street the night's, at a smart midweek price. It is a long way from quiet, has no spa and sits a drive from the Strip.

Does Circa Resort & Casino have a pool or a beach?

It has an outdoor pool. There is no beach; the nearest is a drive away.

Is SAHARA Las Vegas worth it?

Book SAHARA for a redesigned Blanca or Marra room, free parking and its own Monorail station from about $55 a night midweek, or spend part of the difference on the Alexandria Iconic King, the biggest room short of a suite, in its 2014 Philippe Starck and Gensler design. Ride rather than walk to the centre Strip, and budget for the $54.95 nightly fee. A big casino resort at the north end of the Strip, renovated from 2018 to 2023 and priced for people who would rather spend on the trip than the room. You get a modern room, free parking and the Monorail on site, and you ride rather than walk to the centre Strip.

Does SAHARA Las Vegas have a pool or a beach?

It has an outdoor pool. There is no beach; the nearest is a drive away.
