What we looked for

With no beach, the pool is where a Las Vegas day goes, and the heat makes it serious: July averages 104.5°F (40.3°C) by day, and a normal year has 78 days of 100°F (37.8°C) or more. The season decides the rest. Caesars Palace gives its pool season as March to October, the Oasis deck at Fontainebleau Las Vegas reopened on 6 March in 2026 and part of it becomes an ice rink from 19 November 2026, and SAHARA Las Vegas and Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas close their pools for the winter. Circa Resort & Casino heats Stadium Swim and opens it every day, and Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa keeps its pool area open all year.

Then choose the mood. Circa's is a party pool for over-21s with the games on a giant screen. Caesars Palace and Fontainebleau set their main pools beside adults-only ones and a dayclub. Red Rock Resort, in Summerlin, is the calmer afternoon after a morning in the canyon.

Circa Resort & Casino

Downtown, Fremont Street, Las Vegas

Circa Resort & Casino is here because its pool never closes. Stadium Swim is six heated pools on three tiers with two swim-up bars, all facing a screen 135 feet wide and 41 feet high, and the games play with the sound up: football, Golden Knights hockey, fight nights. From March to October it opens from 8am to 11pm. From November to February the hours are shorter, the water is kept at 94°F (34°C) and the hot tubs at 100°F (38°C), so a January swim is a real one.

Every room's resort fee includes two general-admission passes a night, subject to availability, and towels are on the deck. It is a party pool in a resort where everyone must be 21, which suits friends, birthdays and sports weekends. Booths, daybeds and cabanas are booked separately, so a group that wants to sit together should reserve one.

Caesars Palace

Center Strip, Las Vegas

Caesars Palace puts its pools in the Garden of the Gods: seven of them across five acres on three levels. Temple has its statues, Fortuna its swim-up blackjack from 10am, and Neptune is heated for winter swimming. Every day from 9am you can use Temple, Fortuna and Neptune; Jupiter and Venus, which is for over-21s, open from Friday to Sunday, and Apollo is reserved. For a party, OMNIA Dayclub on the Strip side is a separate venue for over-21s, from Thursday to Sunday.

Entry is free for hotel guests, four to a room key, and loungers are free on a first-come basis, with cabanas, canopies and daybeds to rent. The season runs from March to October, so plan a pool trip for those months, and stay over a weekend if you want Jupiter and Venus open too. The Forum Shops and the Bellagio fountains are a short walk when the sun goes down.

Fontainebleau Las Vegas

North Strip, Las Vegas

Fontainebleau Las Vegas, opened in December 2023, gives its pools six acres. The Oasis deck has the main pools, four bars, the La Côte restaurant and a poolside gaming area, and it is non-smoking. The deck also holds the Legacy pool, kept for hotel guests of 21 and over, La Mer, and LIV Beach, the adults-only dayclub, which sells its own tickets. In 2026 the Oasis reopened on 6 March and ran from 8am to 7pm in July and 9am to 6pm by late September. Lapis Spa adds cold plunges and a salt room on a paid pass.

Winter changes the picture. From 19 November 2026 to 17 January 2027 an ice rink takes over part of the deck, and out of season only Legacy and La Mer stay open, from 9am to 4pm, weather permitting. Come between spring and early autumn, and the deck alone is a reason to stay.

Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa

Summerlin, Las Vegas

Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa makes the pool the second half of a desert day. Its 3-acre pool area in Summerlin has a main pool with a fountain, 19 cabanas, daybeds and the Sandbar Grille, and it opens all year: 10am to 5pm, and 10am to 4pm through the winter, when the kitchen and bar close for the season. At weekends in the warmer months Rouge Cabanas, an over-21s pool, opens as well, and there is no dayclub.

It suits families with a car. Kids Quest, a paid hourly childcare centre for children from 30 months to 12 years, gives parents time by the water, parking is free, and the spa adds an outdoor spa pool with a booked treatment. Red Rock Canyon's scenic drive is 12 minutes away by car, so hike early, while it is cool, and swim after lunch.

Questions people ask

Good questions about Las Vegas

Which casino resorts have the best pools for a weekend stay?

For a weekend, Caesars Palace: the Temple, Fortuna and Neptune pools open every day from 9am, and Jupiter and Venus, the over-21s pool, add to them from Friday to Sunday, with OMNIA Dayclub from Thursday to Sunday. For a party with the games on, Circa Resort & Casino, where Stadium Swim is six heated pools for over-21s and two passes a night come with every room. Fontainebleau Las Vegas has the newest deck, six acres with LIV Beach, its adults-only dayclub. For a calmer weekend, Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa, which opens Rouge Cabanas, its over-21s pool, at weekends in the warmer months. At all four, be there at opening time on Saturday and Sunday for a free lounger.

Which Las Vegas hotel pools are open in winter?

Circa Resort & Casino heats Stadium Swim and opens it every day of the year, with the water at 94°F (34°C) and the hot tubs at 100°F (38°C) from November to February. Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa keeps its pool area open all year, from 10am to 4pm in winter, and The Venetian Resort Las Vegas and Bellagio keep theirs open too. Caesars Palace heats the Neptune Pool through the winter, and at Fontainebleau Las Vegas the Legacy pool, for over-21s, and La Mer stay open, weather permitting. SAHARA Las Vegas and Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas close their pools for the winter.

Are there adults-only pools in Las Vegas?

Yes, in two forms. Circa Resort & Casino is 21 and over throughout, so Stadium Swim is an adults-only pool by default. Elsewhere the adults-only pools sit beside the main ones. At Caesars Palace the Venus Pool is for over-21s and opens from Friday to Sunday. Fontainebleau Las Vegas has the Legacy pool, for hotel guests aged 21 and over, and LIV Beach, its adults-only dayclub. Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa opens Rouge Cabanas, an over-21s pool, at weekends in the warmer months.

When is the best time for a pool trip to Las Vegas?

From spring to early autumn, when all four hotels on this list have their main pools open. April averages 78.5°F (25.8°C) by day and October 81.2°F (27.3°C), while July averages 104.5°F (40.3°C), with 26 days of 100°F (37.8°C) or more in a normal July. Caesars Palace gives its pool season as March to October. High summer is the cheap stretch: in 2025 the Strip's average room rate was $164.58 in July against $219.56 in October, and midweek costs less than the weekend at all four.

Is there a beach in Las Vegas?

No. The nearest thing is Mandalay Bay Beach at the south end of the Strip: 11 acres with a wave pool, a lazy river and real sand, whose wave pool and lazy river close in the cooler months. It belongs to Mandalay Bay, and guests of Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas, whose rooms are in Mandalay Bay's tower, get in through their resort fee. On this list the pool days are Circa's Stadium Swim, the five acres of the Garden of the Gods at Caesars Palace, the six-acre deck at Fontainebleau Las Vegas and Red Rock Resort's 3-acre pool area.

Do you have to pay for a lounger or a cabana at a Las Vegas pool?

Loungers are first come, first served at Circa Resort & Casino, Caesars Palace and Fontainebleau Las Vegas, so arrive at opening time on a weekend. Shade is what costs: cabanas and daybeds are rented at all four, and at Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa in October 2026 a cabana for eight was $200 to $300 on a weekday and a daybed for four $75 to $100. At Circa, the resort fee includes two Stadium Swim passes per room a night, subject to availability.

How did you choose these hotels?

Independently, through extensive research, trusted sources and first-hand visits. Hotels cannot pay to be included, and every one of the ten has to exist for a different reason.
