Why this one
Fairmont Royal Palm sells eleven categories, and the first step up is the one that matters for a family. The Deluxe Rooms are generous at 72 m², with a lounge corner inside the bedroom, but they take three people at most. The Junior Suites add 14 m², a lounge and a terrace, and take four, with an extra bed for one child up to 12. For Tuesday 16 to Thursday 18 March 2027 the Deluxe Rooms were not on sale, so the Junior Suite Garden View at €698 a night with breakfast was the cheapest room, and the Atlas View cost €739.
That €41 buys the terrace over the golf course to the mountains, sharpest in winter and spring when there is snow on the peaks. Above the Junior Suites the ladder doubles: the Deluxe Suites are 126 m² with a separate living room, at €1,411 and €1,468, and the garden one takes only two. The Family Suite, at €1,702, is the room for families who want two bedrooms and two bathrooms; for parents happy to share a large room with one or two small children, the Junior Suite Atlas View gives the space and the view for well under half the price.
- Ask for
- Ask for the extra bed for a child up to 12 and a cot when you book. The Junior Suites can connect to a neighbouring room, so a family of five or six can ask for a connecting pair. Two Junior Suites are adapted for guests with reduced mobility; ask for one if needed.
- Avoid
- Avoid the Deluxe Suite Garden View for a family: it takes two guests only. The Deluxe Rooms take three at most, so a family of four needs a Junior Suite or larger. Do not count on the Penthouse plunge pool for winter swims: it is not heated.
Suites against rooms
The Family Suite is the only suite built for children, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and two terraces in 124 m², facing either the gardens or the golf course and the Atlas. For a bigger group, the Presidential Suite has two bedrooms and a kitchen for five, and the Prince Villa adds a private garden, hammam and pool. The Golf View Villa sleeps eight in three master suites.
