Paris Orly lounges: every lounge by terminal

Orly has only a handful of lounges, and each serves a different set of flights: one in Orly 1 for Priority Pass members, a Transavia lounge in Orly 2, and the airport's own Extime Lounge in Orly 4. Which one you can use depends almost entirely on your terminal and your airline. Here is each of them, with who gets in, the hours and what you get, checked against the operators.

The short answer

With Priority Pass, use the Premium Traveller Lounge in Orly 1, after security near gates A1 to A5, open 06:00 to 21:00. Flying Transavia, the lounge at gate C14 in Orly 2 is included with a Max France fare and can be added to other bookings. In Orly 4, the Extime Lounge has a buffet, showers and a children's area, but online booking is temporarily unavailable, so check before you count on it.

Is a lounge worth it at Orly?

Less often than at Charles de Gaulle. Orly is mostly short European and domestic flights, it is compact, and from our hotels it is typically only 20–31 minutes away, so most people arrive with little time to spare. A lounge pays its way on an early start, when the restaurants have barely opened, on a long delay, or with children who need somewhere to spread out.

If you hold Priority Pass, the Premium Traveller Lounge in Orly 1 costs you nothing extra. If you fly Transavia, the lounge option is the simplest upgrade. Otherwise, the Rue Parisienne in Orly 3 and Orly 4 and the restaurants on level 2 of Orly 3 are a pleasant way to wait.

Check your terminal first

Orly 1, 2 and 3 are one connected building and Orly 4 is the southern terminal, linked by the free Orlyval shuttle. A lounge serves only the flights from its own area once you are through security: the Premium Traveller Lounge serves the A gates in Orly 1, the Transavia lounge is at gate C14 in Orly 2, and the Extime Lounge sells entry only for flights from Orly 4. Check your terminal on your booking before you plan around a lounge.

Lounges for families

The Extime Lounge in Orly 4 has a separate children's room with games and television, and it is step-free. At the Premium Traveller Lounge, children under two go in free with a Priority Pass member and every child must be with an adult. Outside the lounges, Orly 3 and Orly 4 have baby rooms, and Orly 1, 2 and 3 have free PlayStation 5 areas.

An early flight from Orly

The Extime Lounge opens at 05:00, the Premium Traveller Lounge and the Transavia lounge at 06:00. Metro line 14 does not run until 05:30, so for a dawn flight from one of our hotels a taxi at the fixed €45 to the Right Bank or €36 to the Left Bank is the reliable way to get there in time to use one.

When the lounge is full or closed

Priority Pass entry is always subject to space, and the Extime Lounge in Orly 4 is not taking online bookings at present. If you cannot get in, the restaurants on level 2 of Orly 3 and the Rue Parisienne in Orly 3 and Orly 4 are the best places to sit, and Le Bistrot Louise does a proper table-service meal.
