Paris Orly pick-up points: taxi, Uber and drivers by terminal

Orly is easier than Charles de Gaulle: Orly 1, 2 and 3 are one long building, Orly 4 is the southern terminal, and the free Orlyval links them. Each still has its own taxi rank, ride-app zone and car park. These are the pick-up points as the airport and the operators give them, with what a friend collecting you pays.

The 30-second version

Official taxis wait at the rank outside arrivals: level 0, gate 14a for Orly 1 and 2, and level 0, gate 48a for Orly 4, at a fixed €45 to the Right Bank and €36 to the Left Bank. Uber picks up beyond exit 10a in Orly 1 and 2, and through exit 48A in Orly 4. Metro line 14 leaves from the Aéroport d'Orly station by Orly 3. A friend collecting you should use the terminal car park: first 10 minutes free, the next 20 for €5.

Being picked up by a friend: where to wait and what it costs

Stopping in front of the terminals is not allowed outside the drop-off zones and the terminal car parks, and both give you the first 10 minutes free. After that, a drop-off zone, signed in orange, costs €1 a minute, so half an hour is €20, and a car left for more than an hour and a half is towed. A terminal car park charges €5 for the next 20 minutes, and Paris Aéroport says you will not be fined or towed for overstaying there. Use P1 for Orly 1 and 2, P3 for Orly 3 and P4a or P4b for Orly 4. Pay at the exit by card only.

Meeting a pre-booked driver or Uber Reserve

A booked driver waits in the arrivals hall with a name sign and follows your flight. With Uber Reserve, UberX, Comfort and UberXL drivers wait up to 45 minutes after landing before late fees, and Black and Premier drivers up to 60; a reservation can be cancelled free until an hour before. For a taxi booked ahead, Paris Aéroport lists G7, Alpha Taxis and ABC Taxis; a standard taxi takes four and a van up to seven.

Late at night

Taxis serve the ranks 24 hours a day at the same fixed fares. Line 14 runs until around midnight and Orlyval until 23:35. After that, Noctilien night buses, including the N22, N31 and N131, link the airport with Châtelet and Gare de Lyon. The drop-off zones close from 00:30 to 03:30, so a friend meeting a late flight should use a terminal car park.

Accessible pick-up

Ask your airline for assistance at least 48 hours ahead and someone will meet you at the aircraft door, free. Secure drop-off spaces for cars with a disabled parking card are available at Orly 1, 2, 3 and 4, and Paris taxis may not charge for carrying a wheelchair.
