Why this one

Hotel Tramonto d'Oro sells its rooms by the view, and the ladder climbs in three steps: no view in the Economy and Standard Rooms, a partial view from a 4 m² balcony in the Superior, then the sea in front of you from the Superior with sea view terrace upwards. The rooms are compact throughout, 18 to 24 m² below the apartment, so the outdoor space matters more than the floor area.

The Classic Room with sea view terrace is the pick because its terrace is the largest below the suite: 13 m², set with a table, chairs and sun loungers, looking straight out to sea, with a sitting area inside and Vietri tiles in the bathroom. It costs €813 a night for two on Tuesday 8 June 2027 with breakfast, €293 more than the partial-view Superior and €88 more than the Superior with sea view terrace, whose terrace is about 10 m², with a table and chairs but no sun loungers. The Deluxe Mediterranean costs more for a smaller room and a 5 m² balcony, and the Junior Suite matches the Classic's 24 m² with a smaller terrace. Every rate includes breakfast on the terrace, the rooftop pool, the gym, parking with valet and Wi-Fi.

Ask for
A Classic Room with sea view terrace by name, and book early for June and late September, the dearest months. Families can ask for the Family Classic, which adds a connecting twin room without a view. If the Classic is sold out, the Junior Suite is the closest match, with a 24 m² room and an 11 m² terrace.
Avoid
The Economy and Standard Rooms if you want to see the sea, since neither has a view, and the Superior Room with partial sea view if the view is the point, since the sea is seen only from its 4 m² balcony. The Superior Large Room costs more than the Classic for a partial view; it is a room for four.

Suites against rooms

The Junior Suite with terrace overlooking the sea is 24 m² with an 11 m² terrace and loungers. The Apartment Suite Melina, about 50 m², has its own entrance a few steps from the hotel, a bedroom with a view, a living area with a sofa and an equipped kitchen. The Deluxe Rooms with Jacuzzi, opened in 2026 in the building next door, each have a private outdoor Jacuzzi on a sea-view terrace.
