This is a private ride for two in an original Fiat 500, run by Ciao Vintage and sold on GetYourGuide. The price is per car, not per person: on 27 October 2026 the GetYourGuide calendar showed it from 299 euros per group of up to two, which is 149.50 euros each for a couple, and the booking takes no more than two passengers. A local driver does the driving; the listing gives English and Italian.
The driver collects you from your accommodation in Positano or Praiano. For the next two hours you drive around Positano, Praiano and the coast road to what the operator calls the most panoramic spots, stopping at each one so you can be photographed in and around the car: the listing calls it a selfie tour, and the photographs are the point. At the end you are dropped back at your accommodation, at an established meeting point, or anywhere else you choose along the route, which makes it an easy way to arrive at dinner.
The car is the draw. Fiat launched the Nuova 500 in 1957, and the operator sells the ride as a return to the Dolce Vita years. It is also a practical answer on a coast with one road and little parking, where the alternative is the SITA bus: 40 minutes from Amalfi to Positano Sponda on the autumn 2026 timetable. Here the car comes to your door and the driver chooses the stops.
The reviews are unusually consistent. On 27 October 2026 GetYourGuide showed 5.0 out of 5 from about 140 reviews, with the driver and the transport each scored 5.0 and value for money 4.9, and said every English-speaking reviewer had given it full marks. When we filtered the reviews for one to three stars that day, there were none. GetYourGuide also marks the tour a rare find that is usually unavailable, so the dates go early.
Why this one
It is the only land tour starting on this part of the coast that we found on GetYourGuide with more than 100 reviews, and on 27 October 2026 it held 5.0 from about 140. Its nearest rivals are longer, dearer outings. The Vespa Tour of Amalfi, Ravello and Positano held 5.0 from about 30 reviews at 340 euros per person for 6.5 hours, starting in Amalfi. The private Amalfi and Ravello day trip from Positano held 5.0 from about 15 reviews at 600 euros for a group of up to three, for 6 hours. The bestselling coast tour, From Sorrento: Positano, Amalfi and Ravello, held 4.9 from about 1,800 reviews at 112.50 euros a person, but it is an 8 hour small-group day in a minivan that starts in Sorrento. If you want two hours, two seats and the photographs, this is the one we would book. We could not find a website for Ciao Vintage, so GetYourGuide is where to book it. Staying in Sorrento instead, Dolce Vita Cars advertised a 3 hour Fiat 500 run from Sorrento to Positano at 450 euros a car for up to four in April 2026; confirm the price basis with them.
For the same coast from the water, Amalfi Coast and Positano small-boat trip with snorkelling is a small-boat day with a swim from Positano, and Positano sunset cruise to the Furore fjord, with prosecco is the evening version. Walkers should look at The Path of the Gods with a local guide, from Agerola to Nocelle, which ends above Positano. Our guide to the Amalfi Coast at /amalfi-coast/ has the hotels and the practical facts.

- Anyone hoping to drive: a local driver does it
- A full day of sightseeing in Amalfi and Ravello

From our Amalfi Coast hotels
Drive times are routed to the point in Positano where GetYourGuide pins the tour, with clear roads; on the coast road in summer traffic, allow longer, especially from Amalfi, Minori, Ravello and Scala, where the routed times are optimistic beside the SITA bus timetable. The listing includes pickup from your accommodation in Positano or Praiano, which covers our three Positano hotels and Hotel Tramonto d'Oro. From elsewhere, ask the operator through GetYourGuide before you book, or come to Positano by boat or bus.

Complaints
The catch
It is a car for two
GetYourGuide sells the tour per group of up to two passengers, at 299 euros a car on 27 October 2026. A family of three or four cannot ride together.
What to do. For three, the private Amalfi and Ravello day trip from Positano takes up to three at 600 euros for 6 hours; for four, our boat pages Amalfi Coast and Positano small-boat trip with snorkelling and Positano sunset cruise to the Furore fjord, with prosecco suit a family better.
Book early: it is usually full
GetYourGuide marks the tour a rare find that is usually unavailable, and bookings close 10 hours ahead. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before, and you can reserve without paying.
What to do. Book as soon as your dates are fixed; reserving costs nothing and you can cancel up to the day before.
Pickup is Positano and Praiano only
The listing covers pickup from your accommodation in Positano or Praiano. From Amalfi, the SITA bus to Positano Sponda took 40 minutes on the autumn 2026 timetable, and the Travelmar boat from Amalfi to Positano costs 10 euros.
What to do. Staying in Amalfi, Ravello or Minori, message the operator through GetYourGuide before booking to ask whether they will collect you, or pair the ride with a day in Positano.
Go for the light, in summer
The tour is built around photographs. In the five years we looked at, Positano was clear at 15:00 on 74% of July days but on 28 to 45% of days from September to May.
What to do. If the pictures matter, book in June, July or August, and choose a later slot for softer light; leave a spare day in case the weather turns.
Two hours is a taste, not the coast
The route stays around Positano, Praiano and the nearby coast road. Amalfi and Ravello are not on the listing.
What to do. Treat it as a short treat, and see Amalfi and Ravello on another day by boat or bus.
