Where to eat at and around Hotel Tramonto d'Oro

La Cucina del Tramonto d'Oro is the hotel's restaurant, run by the Esposito family for three generations, where Chef Domenico Esposito, a grandson of the founders, cooks the dishes of the Amalfi Coast with the best produce of the area, in a dining room that looks out to sea. Dinner is served every day from 19:00, and booking is recommended; Chef Domenico also gives cooking lessons on the Amalfi Coast dishes. The Rooftop Cafe, beside the pool, serves light lunches from midday, drinks and the sunset aperitivo with Positano and Capri in view. Beyond the gate, Praiano's restaurants are close: everything below is within 7 minutes on foot, but this is a coast of steps, and the two beach clubs are about 400 of them below the village, with a long climb back. For fish by the water, Marina di Praia is a 4-minute drive, and on the road down to it Franchino, at the Hotel Onda Verde, is listed in the MICHELIN Guide for its seafood and its terrace on the cliff edge. Most of these places close for the winter, as the hotel does.
