Why this one
Il San Pietro sells nine categories, and every room has a private terrace facing the sea, so the choice is about space, the terrace and the bathroom rather than the view. The first two are small once the terrace is counted: the Classic is about 22 m² with a shower, and the Deluxe about 26 m² with a table and armchairs outside. For one night on Tuesday 8 June 2027, for two with breakfast, they were €3,531 and €4,233.
The Elite is the one to book because it is where the room starts to match the setting: from 40 m², a large bathroom and the first terrace with sunbeds, for €432 more than the Deluxe. Above it, the Premier, about 50 m², adds a king bed and a free minibar for another €1,026 a night, and the Signature and Prestige rooms, about 60 and 70 m², bring Fausta Gaetani's design, baths and wide showers at €6,336 and €6,879.
- Ask for
- If stairs matter, ask for an Elite room close to the lobby and the lift: the hotel is stepped down the cliff on ten levels. Each room is furnished differently, so say whether you prefer a bath or a shower when you book.
- Avoid
- The Classic and Deluxe rooms if you want to lie out on your own terrace: the hotel lists terrace sunbeds only from the Elite rooms up, and the Classic has a shower only.
Suites against rooms
The top three had no rate published for 8 June 2027. The Prestige Rooms with a Positano view, about 85 to 90 m², look west to the town, the Li Galli islands and Capri. Carlino's Prestige Room, about 92 m², was part of the founder's apartment, keeps his original bathroom and has a corner terrace reaching to the Faraglioni of Capri. The Virginia Suite, Suite 59, about 120 m², fills a whole floor with a living room, two toilets, an open shower, a Japanese-style bath and its own entrance to the pool.
