Why this one
The four Classic rooms are 323 sq ft (30 m²) with a king bed or 358 sq ft (33 m²) with two queens, and what changes between them is the beds and whether there is a balcony. None of them has a separate sitting area or a sofa bed, which matters at a hotel chosen for afternoons off between park days. The Parlor King adds 112 sq ft (10 m²) and gives it to a separate parlour with a sleeper sofa, beside a king bed and a walk-in shower. On Tuesday 1 December 2026 it was $355 against $290 for the Classic King, and in February the gap is about $75. It is sold for two guests at most, sofa bed or not.
Two rooms either side of it are worth weighing. The Parlor Double Queen is 448 sq ft (42 m²) with the same kind of sitting area and two queen beds, sold for four and $40 cheaper that night: it is the room for a family, and for a couple who do not mind two queens. The Deluxe King is the bigger room, at 630 sq ft (59 m²), with a sofa and a café table on one side of a partial wall, the king bed on the other, and a deep soaking tub beside the walk-in shower. It is sold only at the flexible rate, $415 on 1 December, which is $60 more than the Parlor King's lowest rate and the same as the Parlor King's flexible rate.
- Ask for
- The hotel sells the Parlor King without a floor or a view, so the category is all you can choose. If you would rather not look out at the museum building site across Interlachen Avenue, ask when you book for a room toward the east end of the hotel, in the 2023 wing.
- Avoid
- The Classic rooms if you want a separate sitting area or a sofa bed, and the Classic King with Balcony if space is the point: the balcony is all it adds to the same 323 sq ft room, for $20 a night more. The Business Suite too, unless you want its kitchen: it is the same 435 sq ft as the Parlor King, split into a bedroom and a living room, for $175 a night more.
Suites against rooms
The Signature Suite is the one with an outlook: 809 sq ft (75 m²) with a balcony the length of the room over Winter Park, a galley kitchen with full-size appliances, a hardwood dining table, a sofa bed and a Jacuzzi tub, sold for four, at $830 on Tuesday 1 December 2026. The Junior Suite, 576 sq ft (54 m²) with a separate king bedroom and a queen sleeper sofa, is the smallest suite that sleeps four, but it was not on sale that night.
At the top, the Luxury Suite (998 sq ft, 93 m²) and the Grand Suite (1,222 sq ft, 114 m²) are apartments with a dining table, a galley kitchen and a bathtub. The Grand Suite was $1,330 and is sold for three.

Our verdict
Book it for Winter Park on foot: Park Avenue, the Morse Museum and the boat tour, with art on the walls and a spa to come back to. Take a Parlor King Room for the extra space, and budget $64 a night for the resort fee and valet, plus a car for the parks.
