Gastropub and brewery, MICHELIN Bib Gourmand · $$$
Winter Park's gastropub since 2007, from James and Julie Petrakis, and a MICHELIN Bib Gourmand in 2026. It sits beside their own brewery and beer garden, a moody room with an open kitchen, and the cooking is pub food with a Southern lean: the menu has included pork burnt ends with ranchero sauce over cornbread pudding, and cured pastrami brisket. It is shut on Monday, and opens at 4pm from Tuesday to Friday and at 11am at weekends, for brunch. Book on OpenTable. On foot it is about a quarter of an hour.

Breakfast
Breakfast is not in the standard room rate. Hamilton's Kitchen serves it, followed by lunch, and at weekends the menu turns to brunch, when a table is worth booking. One of the hotel's rates includes breakfast for two there, up to $40 a day, and on Tuesday 1 December 2026 it cost $20 a night more than the flexible room-only rate. The Café in the lobby is the quicker option, for coffee, crepes and light bites. The best outside option is Croissant Gourmet, seven minutes away on foot and open from 7am every day, for an omelette baked inside a croissant.

Our verdict
Book it for Winter Park on foot: Park Avenue, the Morse Museum and the boat tour, with art on the walls and a spa to come back to. Take a Parlor King Room for the extra space, and budget $64 a night for the resort fee and valet, plus a car for the parks.
