  • Duration: 1 hourStart times show in the calendar

Porto Legends is an hour-long walk through the city's stories in the furnaces beneath the Alfândega do Porto, the old Customs House on the river at Miragaia. It is made by Ocubo, the Portuguese studio behind the Spiritus light show in the Clérigos Church, and it runs in the Immersivus Gallery there; Fever sells it, and the listing has 781 reviews.

It comes in three parts, Fever says. First, ten of Porto's legends told in a 360-degree audiovisual show: projections, animation and music cover the stone vaults, walls and floor, with narration by the singer Pedro Abrunhosa in the Portuguese version and the actor Jeremy Irons in the English one. The narration is also offered in French, Italian, Korean and Spanish. Then you step in front of a camera and artificial intelligence turns you into one of the characters from the legends; you keep the video of your transformation. Last comes what Fever calls the metaverse: with a headset on, you walk through virtual rooms, interact with the space and solve challenges in a mission to help keep the city's memory alive.

Sessions start every half hour, Tuesday to Sunday. On 30 October 2026 Fever's calendar ran from 11:00 to the last session at 18:00, with Mondays closed and no sessions on 24 and 25 December. Fever puts the whole visit at 60 minutes. You choose a time when you book; there is free parking for visitors, when there is space, in the Parque Nascente beside the Customs House building.

It is priced for families. A full ticket is 15 euros, a reduced ticket 13, and a family ticket for two adults and one to three children aged 6 to 17 works out at 11 euros each; children under 5 go free, and Fever adds no booking fee. Fever says it suits all ages.

Why this one

Porto Legends is the choice for a family, or anyone curious about the city, on a rainy day or a first afternoon: it explains Porto through its stories, in English, and ends with something to do rather than only watch. On Fever it holds 4.57 from 781 reviews on 30 October 2026, lower than Spiritus in the Clérigos Church (4.72 from 1,036) or the Candlelight concerts at the Palácio da Bolsa (4.73 from 1,369), and it takes twice as long as Spiritus. Choose Spiritus for half an hour of pure light and music in a baroque church, Candlelight for an hour of music in the evening, and Porto Legends for the history, by day.

Fever is not the only place to buy it, and it is not always the cheapest. On 30 October 2026 Tiqets listed Porto Legends from 11 euros, rated 4.4 from 234 reviews there, and Civitatis from 15 euros, non-refundable. Fever's prices are 15 euros full, 13 reduced and 11 each on the family ticket, with no booking fee; for a family of four, the family ticket on Fever is the simple choice.

The Customs House is a short walk along the river from Ribeira: Torel Avantgarde is a 10-minute walk away, 1872 River House 9 minutes and Casa da Companhia 11, and tram stops sit at its door. Pair it with lunch in Ribeira, and come back to the Palácio da Bolsa for a Candlelight concert in the evening.

Complaints

    The catch

    1. Closed on Mondays

Sessions run Tuesday to Sunday only, and there were none on 24 and 25 December in Fever's calendar on 30 October 2026.

What to do. Plan it for another day, or book Spiritus on a Monday evening instead.

    2. The last session is at 18:00

On 30 October 2026 the first session was at 11:00 and the last at 18:00.

What to do. Go in the late morning or afternoon, and keep the evening for a concert.

    3. Headsets for the finale

The visit ends with a virtual reality mission played with a headset on.

What to do. If someone in your group dislikes headsets, they can still enjoy the projection show first.

    4. Family tickets need three people or more

The family ticket at 11 euros each covers two adults and one to three children aged 6 to 17.

What to do. Choose the exact number of children when you book; without children, it is 15 euros each, or 13 for those who qualify for a reduced ticket.
