Why this one

Palazzo Pascal sells thirteen rooms and suites, each a category of its own, and every rate includes breakfast, and every room has a bathroom with a shower. The first four are in the Dependance, the annex in the garden: RIBES with a window, VIOLA with a small balcony, and SAMBUCO and TIGLIO with terraces, all with a partial sea view. The palazzo starts with the Superior Suite IRIS, which has a French balcony over the pool. For one night on Tuesday 8 June 2027, RIBES was €375 for two and IRIS €575.

The Deluxe Suite EDERA is the one to book because it is the first rung where the palazzo and a private terrace come together: 10 m² looking over Ravello, Pontone, Atrani's beach and Amalfi's harbour, for about €70 a night above IRIS. The next terrace with that view, the Romantic Suite LILLÀ on the floor below, has about 25 m² outside for about €305 more again, and the Courtyard suites trade the harbour for the Torre dello Ziro.

Ask for
There is only one EDERA, so book early. It connects with the Junior Suite ORTENSIA, so ask for the pair if you are four. The lift reaches the first floor and a few steps lead up to the second, so mention it if steps are a problem.
Avoid
The Classic Room RIBES if outdoor space matters, since it has a window only; the Superior Suite IRIS and the Junior Suite ORTENSIA if you want a terrace, since IRIS has a French balcony and ORTENSIA portholes; and the Grand Deluxe Suite ROSA CANINA, which has a kitchen and a French balcony but no terrace.

Suites against rooms

Nine of the thirteen are suites: seven in the palazzo and two in the Courtyard. The palazzo's two apartments, ROSA CANINA and IBISCO, each have a full kitchen, and IBISCO, about 50 m² with a 20 m² terrace, sleeps four. FIORDALISO, about 40 m², has a 50 m² terrace and also sleeps four. ANGELICA and MELISSA in the Courtyard connect into one apartment that the hotel suggests for a family of four or five. Beds are 180 by 200 cm and can be made up as a double or two singles.

The quiet find in Scala, for a 13-room palazzo, a pool facing Ravello and a family welcome rather than a beach. Check availability for the Deluxe Suite Edera.
