Why this one
Bull Reina Isabel sells seven categories, and the line that matters runs through the building, not up the price list. The long face looks straight at Las Canteras across the promenade, and the back looks at the street. The plain Double Room is sold on the street side with a city view; the Double Sea View Room is the same room in the front row, with the same balcony, the same twin beds or double and the same shower. On Tuesday 8 June 2027, with breakfast for two, that was €145 against €180: €35 for the beach in front of you instead of the street.
Above the pick, the ladder sells space, not view. The Junior Suite, at €181, adds a separate sitting room in about 40 m² but faces the city, so for €1 more than the Double Sea View Room you give up the sea for a sofa. The sea comes back with the Sea View Suite, about 45 m² at €270, and the Suite Plus with Sea View, about 75 m² at €323, and both keep the hotel's older, classic furnishings. The two single rooms, one on each side, are sold to one person only. Every category has a balcony and includes breakfast, and every guest shares the same free spa and the same pool on the roof, so the room decides one thing: what you see when you open the balcony door.
- Ask for
- A high floor, for the widest view over the promenade palms and along the beach to La Isleta. The Doubles are made up with twin beds, so ask for the double bed if you want one, and ask for a bath if you prefer one to a shower: the hotel offers both on request. A cot is free, but ask for it in advance.
- Avoid
- The plain Double if you came for the beach: it faces the street, which is also the noisier side. The Junior Suite unless a third person needs the bed, because it costs about the same as the Double Sea View Room and faces the city. And the single rooms if you are two, since they are sold for one person only.
Suites against rooms
Two suites face the sea. The Sea View Suite is about 45 m² with a living room, sea views and a balcony, at €270 on the June night with breakfast, €90 more than the pick. The Suite Plus with Sea View, also called the Suite Mar Plus, is about 75 m² for two adults at most, at €323. Bathrobes are free in the suites and €5 each elsewhere. Both are photographed with the hotel's older look, patterned wallpaper and dark period furniture, so book them for the space and the sea rather than the décor. The Junior Suite, despite the name, is not sold with a sea view.

Our verdict
Golden sand out front, a free spa and a pool on the roof, at a city-hotel price. Pay the extra for the sea-view balcony.
