Why this one

The four guest-room categories differ only in where they sit. The Resort Room, $1,395 on the January Tuesday, is on the 2nd to 4th floors with a view the resort itself calls obstructed. The Golden Oak View Room, $90 more, looks over the streets and houses of Golden Oak, and in 2026 some of these rooms looked onto the building site next door. The Lake View Room, at $2,280, faces the lake, golf course and pools, but only from the 2nd to 5th floors. The Park View Room, at $2,415, is the only one sold on the fireworks, on the 6th to 16th floors with a furnished terrace. The step up from the entry room is $1,020 a night, and it buys height, the terrace and the nightly show; the Lake View is $135 less for a lower floor and no fireworks promised.

Above the guest rooms the ladder is about space. The 825 sq ft (77 m²) suites add a separate bedroom and a second bathroom from $4,310, the 1,000 sq ft (93 m²) deluxe suites a dining area from $5,465, and the Grand Suite seats eight at dinner.

Ask for
Name the bed: the Park View is sold with a king bed and a queen sofa bed, or with two queens and room for a crib. Either sleeps three adults or two adults and two children, and the resort has no rollaway beds, so a family of five needs two rooms or a suite. Ask for connecting rooms, which the resort offers.
Avoid
The Resort Room, sold with an obstructed view on the 2nd to 4th floors. For a view, skip the Golden Oak View rooms too: they face the houses of Golden Oak, and in 2026 the resort was crediting guests in its accessible Golden Oak View rooms $100 a night for the view of the residential building project next door.

Suites against rooms

The Golden Oak View Suite and the Park View Suite are both 825 sq ft (77 m²) with a separate bedroom, a queen sofa bed and two marble bathrooms, and both can be set up as two- or three-bedroom suites for a family. The Park View version faces the fireworks from a private terrace and costs $625 a night more, $4,935 against $4,310. The deluxe suites are 1,000 sq ft (93 m²) with a dining area; the 14 on the Park View side were redesigned in 2023. The Grand Suite, 1,700 sq ft (158 m²) on the 14th to 16th floors, was $14,130, and the Presidential and Royal suites are sold by telephone.

Our verdict

Book it when the resort should be half the holiday: the water park and kids' club for the children, Oasis, the spa and Capa for the adults, and early entry to the parks. Ask for a Park View Room, and plan park days around the hourly coach.
