Which room to book at Secrets Bahía Real Resort & Spa

The Junior Suite Pool View. It is the same 36 m² suite as the entry Junior Suite, with the same furnished balcony and a king-size bed or two singles, but where the entry suite comes with no stated view, this one looks over the pools and the palm gardens. It faces the pool, not the sea, and what it buys over the plain Junior Suite is an outlook you know before you arrive.

Why this one

Secrets Bahía Real sells nine categories and no standard doubles. The first three are the same room: the Junior Suite, the Junior Suite Pool View and the Junior Suite Frontal Ocean View are all 36 m², with a furnished balcony and a king-size bed or two singles, and what you pay for is the outlook. The entry Junior Suite is sold with no stated view, the Pool View faces the pools and gardens, and the Frontal Ocean View looks straight out to sea. For a two-night stay from Tuesday 8 June 2027 the Pool View was €270 a night for two with half board; the other two had no rate for those nights.

The Pool View is the one to book because it is the step up from the entry suite that tells you what you will see: a furnished balcony over the pools and the palm gardens. It faces the pool, not the sea, so Lobos and Lanzarote across the strait are a stroll through the gardens away. If waking to that view is the point of your trip, the Frontal Ocean View is the same suite turned square to the sea. Above them, the Deluxe Junior Suites add a third more floor, nearly 48 m², a terrace and a bath, over the gardens or the sea. The Preferred Club adds service rather than space at its entry level: the club Junior Suite is the same 36 m² facing the sea, with a private lounge, a private breakfast area and butler service in the club areas.

Ask for
Choose the exact suite yourself on the hotel's room-selection platform, which opens after booking, and go early, before the best balconies are taken. If you would rather face the sea, the Junior Suite Frontal Ocean View is the same 36 m² turned towards Lobos, and the Junior Suite Deluxe Frontal Ocean View gives nearly 48 m², a terrace over the sea and a bath as well as a shower.
Avoid
The plain Junior Suite, since the hotel does not say what it faces. The Junior Suite Deluxe Garden View if you came for the sea: it buys space and a bath, not the view of Lobos.

Suites against rooms

The Preferred Club holds the suites, all facing the sea straight on. The Suite Frontal Ocean View is about 74 m² with a whirlpool bath and sleeps three; the Penthouse Suite, about 140 m² for two adults, is billed as having the best sea views in the building; and the Presidential Suite, about 169 m², has a large terrace, a kitchenette, a dining area, a bar and a whirlpool bath, and sleeps four. Club guests get coffee and pastries in the lounge from 08:00 to 14:00, drinks and snacks from 14:00 to 20:00, breakfast in a private area of the Market Café and butler service in the club areas.
