Book the Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon, The Ivens or Verride Palácio Santa Catarina. The Four Seasons has CURA, a Michelin-starred tasting menu with its own street entrance; The Ivens has Rocco, an Italian restaurant and bar open until one every night; Verride has SUBA, in the Michelin Guide, and a rooftop bar over the Tagus.

Lisbon eats well almost everywhere, so a hotel restaurant earns a place here only if you would cross town for it. The test is simple: does the city book it too? All three below pass. CURA at the Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon has its own door to the street, Rocco at The Ivens has its own door on Rua Ivens and its own reservations, and The Lisbon Club 55 at Verride Palácio Santa Catarina opens straight onto the Miradouro de Santa Catarina.
Choose by the evening you want. For a long tasting menu, CURA or SUBA at Verride; for a late Italian dinner with a DJ playing in the bar, Rocco; for a drink over the river afterwards, Verride's roof. Then check the calendar: CURA serves dinner Tuesday to Saturday, SUBA Thursday to Monday, and Rocco every night until one. Each address also has a two-star table within ten minutes on foot.
Two Michelin-starred restaurants share this building. CURA is run by the hotel: Rodolfo Lavrador's modern Portuguese tasting menus, at 175 or 195 euros, both of which can be made vegetarian, served from seven in the evening, Tuesday to Saturday, in a room with an open kitchen and a door of its own onto the street. It has held its star five years running, and the 2026 Repsol guide gives it two Suns. Kabuki Lisboa, the Kabuki group's first restaurant outside Spain, is a tenant in the Galerias Ritz and won its star in 2026 for Japanese-Mediterranean cooking on Portuguese produce.
Around them, Varanda does breakfast, lunch, dinner and a weekend brunch in a room with windows onto the park, and the Almada Negreiros Lounge, home for now to the Ritz Bar, serves from 9am to 1am. Henrique Sá Pessoa's two-star restaurant is six minutes away on foot.

Deluxe Park-View Room
49 m²€1,165 a night
The cheapest room on the park side, 49 square metres with a private terrace over the hotel gardens, the same park view Varanda's breakfast room looks onto. Check whether your rate includes breakfast.
The Ivens is on this list for its ground floor. Rocco is an Italian restaurant and bar with its own street door at Rua Ivens 14, run by Plateform, a Lisbon restaurant group, in rooms designed with Lázaro Rosa-Violán. It takes the city's bookings as well as the hotel's, so it feels like a night out rather than a hotel dining room, and in 2026 Wine Spectator gave its wine list a Best of Award of Excellence.
It is four places under one name, all open until one in the morning, seven days a week. The Ristorante serves Italian classics such as lobster linguine at lunch and from 7.30pm; the Crudo Bar and the Terrazza, an indoor garden inspired by Italian courtyards, open at 12.30pm; and the Gastrobar opens at 10.30am, with a DJ playing vinyl. For a tasting menu, Belcanto, José Avillez's two-star restaurant, is three minutes' walk away.

Capelo King
22 m²€508 a night
Rocco is the reason to stay, so the entry room is enough. It comes on all five floors, so ask for the highest, well above the late tables downstairs.
Both kitchens in this 18-room palace are run by the chef Fábio Alves. SUBA is the serious one: tasting menus from 80 euros, Thursday to Monday evenings, for diners of 12 and over, in the Michelin Guide since 2022, and at dinner it has the terrace and the view. The Lisbon Club 55 is the everyday one: Portuguese food at lunch and dinner daily, a bar, and a door of its own onto the Miradouro de Santa Catarina, so the neighbourhood drops in too.
After dinner, go up to the roof. The Sunrise Terrace bar looks over the river, the bridge and the rooftops, and the 25 euro minimum spend applies only to non-residents. Breakfast is part of the case: five courses cooked to order from the chef's daily suggestions, served in the Tagus Room over the river, on the roof, or in your room all day.

Superior Room with River View
34 to 38 m²€808 a night
Breakfast can come to your room all day, and this is the cheapest room with the Tagus in the window to eat it by.
The Bairro Alto Hotel's BAHR, on the fifth floor, is in the Michelin Guide and serves dinner until midnight, with a terrace over the Tagus. Belcanto's two-star tasting menu is four minutes' walk from the door.
Santiago de Alfama's Audrey's runs from 7.30am to 11pm on four menus, from breakfast to a bistro dinner, and two one-star tasting menus, Grenache and SÁLA de João Sá, are within eight minutes on foot.

Questions people ask
Good questions about Lisbon
Which Lisbon hotels have a Michelin-starred restaurant?
Of our ten, the Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon is the one with a starred restaurant of its own: CURA, with one star, serving modern Portuguese tasting menus at 175 or 195 euros, dinner Tuesday to Saturday, with its own street entrance. Kabuki Lisboa, starred in 2026, is a separate restaurant in the Galerias Ritz in the same building. Verride Palácio Santa Catarina's SUBA, in the Michelin Guide since 2022, and the Bairro Alto Hotel's BAHR are listed in the guide without a star, and both are worth booking for a night out.
Can non-guests eat at Lisbon hotel restaurants?
At these three, yes. CURA at the Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon has its own entrance from the street. Rocco at The Ivens has its own door at Rua Ivens 14 and welcomes diners whether or not they are staying. At Verride Palácio Santa Catarina, The Lisbon Club 55 opens onto the miradouro and serves the city as well as guests, and the rooftop Sunrise Terrace takes non-residents with a 25 euro minimum spend a head, until 10.30pm in summer.
Which Lisbon hotels are near a two-Michelin-star restaurant?
Belcanto, José Avillez's two-star tasting menu in Chiado, is three minutes' walk from The Ivens, four from the Bairro Alto Hotel and nine from Verride Palácio Santa Catarina. Henrique Sá Pessoa's flagship, also with two stars, is two minutes from Hotel das Amoreiras and six from the Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon, which has CURA, with one star, in the hotel, and Kabuki Lisboa, a separate one-star restaurant, in the same building. From all three hotels on this page, a two-star dinner is a walk, not a taxi.
Is breakfast included at Lisbon's luxury hotels?
Not always, so check what your rate includes. At the Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon, the Varanda buffet with one cooked dish is 62 euros a head bought on the day, served from 7 to 10.30am in a room with windows onto the park, and children under five staying at the hotel eat free. At The Ivens, Rocco's breakfast, a buffet with eggs, pancakes or porridge cooked to order, is 42 euros a person, from 6.30 to 10.30am. At Verride Palácio Santa Catarina, non-residents pay 45 euros for the five-course breakfast cooked to order, so a rate that includes it is worth having.
Do you need to book hotel restaurants in Lisbon ahead?
For dinner, yes. Rocco at The Ivens recommends booking ahead, online, by phone or by email; it holds the table with card details and you can cancel free up to three hours before. CURA at the Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon serves dinner only from Tuesday to Saturday, and SUBA at Verride Palácio Santa Catarina only from Thursday to Monday, so fix those nights first and build the rest of the trip around them.
How did you choose these hotels?
Independently, through extensive research, trusted sources and first-hand visits. Hotels cannot pay to be included, and every one of the ten has to exist for a different reason.
