Where to eat at and around L'Avenida Hotel

L'Avenida has no dinner service. The bistro serves breakfast, then lunch from noon to 3pm by the pool or in the bar, with pa amb oli on the menu at any hour, and after that the evenings belong to Sóller. That suits the address: everything below is within five minutes on foot, round the square and along Gran Via. For the sea, the wooden tram runs to Port de Sóller from the stop in front of the station, five minutes away, or from the market stop, four: 10 euros each way, tickets on board, hourly from 8am and every half hour from 11am to 7.30pm. The last tram back from the port leaves at 9.05pm, so a port dinner is an early one or a taxi home.

The 2026 menu takes in its bravas at 12 euros and squid with homemade noodles at 21, with a Sóller lemon semifreddo to finish. Breakfast

Breakfast is served every morning in the courtyard garden by the pool: a buffet made with local produce, with hot dishes cooked to order from a menu of eggs every way, omelettes with the fillings you choose, eggs Benedict, French toast, crêpes and a full cooked plate the house calls the Especial L'Avenida, plus juices and oat, almond or soya milk for the coffee. Whether it is in your rate depends on the rate, so check yours; every rate on sale for May 2027 included it. Breakfast hours are not published, so ask at check-in. For a second coffee or a pastry later, Café Sóller on the square bakes its own from 8am, four minutes away, and Horno Santo Cristo sells ensaïmadas five minutes away.

Our verdict

L'Avenida earns its place by putting you inside Sóller: a small, adults-only house with a pool, people who know where to book dinner, and the tram and the mountains within walking distance. Pay for a Luxury Suite, come between March and October, and pack for the stairs.
