Where to eat at and around Monte-Carlo Beach

You are on a headland at the end of Avenue Princesse Grace, just over the French line, with pines behind and the resort's own kitchens as the only ones within eight minutes on foot. The hotel has four of them, each with its own season on its own page: Le Deck, daily lunch from 12:30 to 15:30 until 11 October; Elsa, one star in the 2026 Michelin guide, Tuesday to Saturday for lunch from 12:15 and dinner from 19:15 until 27 September; and Maona, Greek plates and a DJ, and La Vigie Zanoni on the point, which both closed on 27 September and reopen in spring 2027. On foot the only alternatives within ten minutes are the two restaurants at Monte-Carlo Bay; La Note Bleue on Larvotto is 16 minutes along the promenade and Marlow 25. Beyond that you need a car, a taxi or the resort shuttle.

Monte-Carlo Beach: Outdoor dining

Elsa

One Michelin starChef Marcel RavinMediterranean, sustainably sourcedSeasonal

A starred restaurant that is also organic and fish-certified, on a 1930s terrace above the water. Lunch here in a swimsuit cover-up is the most civilised thing you can do on this coast. Mid-April to late September, Tuesday to Saturday.

Monte-Carlo Beach: Dinner at sunset

La Vigie

Chef Simone ZanoniItalian sharing plates, summer onlySeasonal

The rocky point at the end of the property, a white terrace with nothing between you and the sea. It has been called the most romantic restaurant in Monaco for decades; Zanoni's summer residency reopens in spring 2027. The setting is the draw, and it is enough.

Close by, on foot or by car

  • Two-star Caribbean-Mediterranean tasting menus · €€€€

Marcel Ravin oversees Elsa at your hotel, but this is his own kitchen and it holds two stars in the 2026 Michelin guide: Martinique through Mediterranean produce, with a menu the restaurant's page says changes every three weeks. Its own page and the guide agree on dinner only, Wednesday to Saturday from 19:30 to 21:30, closed Sunday to Tuesday. Eight minutes' walk back along the avenue, so no car and no shuttle; book well ahead.

    8 min walk

    All-day bistro at Monte-Carlo Bay · €€

The useful one. Its own page gives 8:00 to 23:00 every day, which makes it the answer when Elsa is shut on a Monday, when you want breakfast without paying 55 euros for the buffet, and when you want a plate of something at ten at night. Bistro classics under Ravin's direction, a terrace, take-away, children welcome. Eight minutes' walk, the same door as the Blue Bay.

  • Marlow

    4 min by car

British café-lounge on the new waterfront · €€€

British cooking, which its own page says is reinvented with mischief, on the sea-facing terrace of the Mareterra district, the other side of Larvotto from you. The page gives 8:30 to 22:30 daily, and its summer 2026 menu prices a beef Wellington for two at 110 euros, fish and chips at 38, afternoon tea at 30 from 15:30 and a weekend brunch from 60. Four minutes by car; on foot it is 25 along the promenade, which is a fine way home after lunch.

  • La Note Bleue

    4 min by car

Beach restaurant with live jazz · €€€

The one place on Larvotto beach with a reason beyond the sunbeds: Laurent Paya has cooked here since 2002 and the evenings run to live jazz, soul, funk and Brazilian sets with the sea in front of the stage. Its own site gives 9:00 to 22:00 every day and a menu that ranges from risotto and ceviche to a cheeseburger, which is the point. Sixteen minutes on foot along the promenade, four by car; book by phone for a front table.

  • Mirazur

    20 min by car

    Three-star garden-to-table, Menton · €€€€

Mauro Colagreco's restaurant above Menton, three stars in the 2026 Michelin guide, cooking from five hectares of its own biodynamic gardens. The guide gives it closed Monday and Tuesday, dinner only on Wednesday and lunch and dinner Thursday to Sunday, and its own site releases tables in monthly windows well in advance. Twenty minutes by car along the coast; it is the one dinner worth leaving the headland for, and the reason to have booked before you booked the hotel.

Breakfast

Breakfast is not in the rate except in the Diamond Suite Sunshine and Villa La Vigie. The hotel's practical page prices it as a buffet at 55 euros, and guests rate it the best of any stay. If two of you would rather spend 110 euros on lunch, L'Orange Verte at Monte-Carlo Bay opens at 8:00 and is eight minutes' walk; Marlow at Mareterra opens at 8:30 and prices pastries from 4 euros.
