Where to eat at and around Royal Garden Villas & Spa
You are on the golf course above Costa Adeje, on a hillside where the pedestrian network does not lead anywhere you would want to eat: even the golf clubhouse building next door on Calle Alcojora is 21 minutes on foot from the hotel's door and 5 by car, and La Caleta, the fishing village with the good tables, is 28 minutes on foot and 4 by car. So you need a car or a taxi for every meal that is not Jardín, the hotel's one restaurant. The consolation is that four minutes down the road is the densest run of good tables near the hotel.

Two-star tasting menu, weekday evenings · €€€€
Two Michelin stars in the 2026 guide, on the fifth floor of the Royal Hideaway Corales Beach with the sea below, cooked by the Padrón brothers as a single tasting menu of Canarian ideas taken somewhere else. Its own contact page gives 18:30 to 21:00 Monday to Friday and closed on Saturdays and Sundays, and the guide lists it at the top price band. The one dinner of the week to plan the week around; book it before you book the flights.

Seafront fish restaurant, La Caleta · €€€
The fish house on the La Caleta front: stewed octopus with a sharp vinaigrette, tuna carpaccio, lobster linguine and fresh fish, on a terrace over the Atlantic. Its own site gives 13:00 to 22:30, Monday to Sunday, which makes it the answer for a late lunch after the beach or an early dinner with the sunset. Book for a terrace table; the room behind it is the fallback.

Harbour fish restaurant, sunset terrace · €€
A fish restaurant on the little harbour at La Caleta, cheaper and more relaxed than the terraces above it, with the same coastal fish and shellfish and a terrace that faces the sunset. Its own site gives 12:00 to 22:00 and a weekday lunch offer, Monday to Friday from 12:00 to 15:00, of a bottle of wine for tables spending 70 euros or more. The right place for the second fish dinner of the week, when you want the harbour and not the bill.

The Top Brasserie at Royal River
4 min by carRooftop brasserie, adults only, neighbour · €€€
The sister hotel down the same road has four restaurants to Royal Garden's one, and this is the useful one: a rooftop brasserie with panoramic views, adults only, which its own page lists as closed on Mondays and Thursdays. Royal River's Pineapple Terrace does a Deluxe BBQ on Thursdays and its Flamingo restaurant an Italian tasting menu on Mondays, both adults only. The page does not say whether outside guests are taken, so ask Royal Garden's reception to book it for you.

Golf Costa Adeje clubhouse restaurant
5 min by carGolf clubhouse buffet, public, daytime · €€
The building next door, and the only lunch you can reach without going down the hill. The club's own site says the restaurant is open to the public all year, with a buffet of Spanish and international dishes from 12:00 to 17:00 daily, a snacks menu and a bar, on a terrace over the first tee with La Gomera across the water. The contact page gives the club's hours as 7:00 to 19:00, Monday to Sunday. The mapped footpath loops round in 21 minutes; ask reception for a shortcut.

Restaurante Otelo
9 min by carGarlic chicken institution, Adeje town · €
Up the hill in old Adeje, at the entrance to the Barranco del Infierno trail, a family restaurant that has been frying garlic chicken for decades and does not pretend to do much else. Its own site gives 11:00 to 23:00 daily and describes the setting as surrounded by nature. It is the antidote to a week of tasting menus and villa room service, and a bill that will surprise you the right way. Walk the barranco first if you have booked the trail.

Rice and grilled fish, beachfront · €€€
The hotel's own site links to it as the group's beach restaurant, at street level above Playa de Troya. Rice dishes with Molino Roca rice and fish and shellfish over the flame, recommended in the Repsol guide every year from 2023 to 2026. Its own site gives 18:30 to 23:00 on Mondays, 13:30 to 16:00 and 18:30 to 23:00 Tuesday to Saturday, and lunch only, 13:30 to 16:30, on Sundays. A long lunch by the sea, then a taxi back up the hill.

Breakfast
Breakfast is included on every rate: bed and breakfast is the lowest board on offer, and the villa pages list the breakfast buffet among the services that come with the villa. It is served at Restaurante Jardín, the one restaurant, and guests praise it, with breakfast cooked to order rather than left on a hotplate. Over a long stay it is the same room every morning. The nearest alternative is the golf clubhouse next door, five minutes by car: the club opens at 7:00 by its own contact page, but its restaurant page lists only the 12:00 to 17:00 buffet and a snacks menu, so ask whether breakfast is served before you drive down.
What to skip
The half-board upgrade. It adds 180 euros a night to every category in April and 200 in February, for dinner in the one restaurant, every night, and the whole point of this hillside is that the densest run of good tables near the hotel is four minutes down it. Take breakfast, keep the evenings free, and let the car earn its keep.
