Village cellar, French, since 1965 · €€
A 14th-century sheepfold cut into the rock under the castle of the medieval village, cooking traditional French food by the season since August 1965. Its own site gives twenty covers as the maximum, tables of six or fewer, dinner from 19:00, and Tuesday and Wednesday closed. It is five minutes by car and the closest thing the cliff has to a neighbourhood table, which is why you book it: with twenty seats, a Saturday walk-in has little chance.

La Turbie village bistro · €€
A village bistro on the square in La Turbie, taken over by a young duo according to the Michelin inspectors, who keep it in the 2026 selection at two euro signs: terrine, stuffed cabbage, onglet and a seasonal clafoutis. Its own site gives lunch 12:00 to 14:30 and dinner 19:00 to 22:00, Thursday closed and Sunday lunch only. Eight minutes up the corniche by car, and the honest lunch between the hotel's 42 euro club sandwich and a starred dinner.

Mauro Colagreco, three Michelin stars · €€€€
Three stars in the 2026 guide, on the Garavan hillside at the Italian border, cooking to a lunar calendar from five hectares of its own permaculture gardens. Its own site gives Tuesday to Sunday in summer and Wednesday to Sunday in autumn; the Michelin listing gives dinner 19:15 to 22:00 Wednesday to Sunday and lunch Thursday to Sunday. Reservations open month by month on dates the restaurant publishes, so this is the table you book before the flight.

Colagreco's Argentine wood-fire grill · €€
Across the road from Mirazur and run by the same chef, an asado grill over wood with empanadas, octopus, picanha and a dulce de leche flan, at two euro signs in the 2026 Michelin selection where its neighbour has four. The Michelin listing gives Monday closed, dinner Tuesday to Friday and lunch and dinner at the weekend. It is the way to eat Colagreco without the lunar calendar or the waiting list.

The English breakfast is served in your studio or suite or at the Riviera Restaurant, 7:00 to 11:00 every day; check that your rate includes it. Bought separately it is 45 euros on the restaurant's own card, for a bakery basket, fruit, eggs with two sides, a hot drink and a fresh juice; the à la carte page prices an espresso at 10 euros, eggs Benedict at 25 and a mimosa at 28. Guests praise it across reviews. There is no alternative on foot, and none worth the drive at breakfast time; for lunch, Café de la Fontaine in La Turbie is 8 minutes away by car and opens at noon.
The all-day bar as your default lunch. It is the easiest place to eat on the cliff, and on its own 2026 card a club sandwich is 42 euros, a truffle pizza 48 and a cocktail 28; two of those a day for a week is a suite's worth of extras. Have one drink there at sunset and eat at the pool, at the Riviera Restaurant, or down the hill.
