Tenerife North Airport transfers

Tenerife North is the quick way in to Puerto de la Cruz and the north coast: Hotel Botánico is 22 minutes away by road, Gran Hotel Taoro 27, and Hotel San Roque in Garachico 47. It also has the best airport bus on the island for our guests. Here is every way out of the airport, where it leaves from, and the way we would reach each of our ten hotels if you land here.

The short answer

For Puerto de la Cruz, take a taxi from the rank on Floor 0, about 22 minutes and about €38 by day to Hotel Botánico, or line 30 from the bus parking on Floor -1, which stops 160 metres from the hotel in 23 to 28 minutes for a guide fare of €4.75. For Garachico, book a driver. For our Costa Adeje and west-coast hotels, an hour or more away, a transfer or a hire car is the answer.

  • TFNTenerife North (TFN). The island's domestic airport, serving Puerto de la Cruz and the north-west: Hotel Botánico is about 22 minutes away and Hotel San Roque in Garachico 47.

About an hour by road: our six southern hotels are typically 64 to 73 minutes from Tenerife North, against 20 to 31 from Tenerife South. With luggage or children, book a driver; and if you have the choice of flights, land in the south.

Landing late

The last weekday line 30 bus leaves for Puerto de la Cruz at 23:20. After that, the taxi rank on Floor 0 works on the night meter, or a pre-booked driver will be waiting whatever the delay. Most flights into Tenerife North are domestic, with no passport control, so you are usually at the kerb within minutes of collecting your bags.

Going back to Tenerife North

Line 30 runs back from Puerto de la Cruz through the day; the first reaches the airport at 08:35 on weekdays and 07:43 at weekends, and the last at 23:19 on weekdays.
