Melissa Kelly's Italian kitchen at the JW Marriott · $$$
Melissa Kelly, a two-time James Beard Award winner, has run Primo at the JW Marriott since 2003, and it is in the 2026 MICHELIN Guide. The cooking is Italian with a Mediterranean lean, built on the JW's organic garden and the estate's Whisper Creek Farm: start with the bread service and the grilled octopus with almond purée, then the lobster cacio e pepe, the pork saltimbocca or a wood-fired pizza. The room was redesigned with the JW's renovation and has a 50-seat terrace. Dinner only, every day from 5:30pm to 10pm. Book ahead: it is the estate's other big dinner.
