Three of our ten, each with a restaurant starred in the 2026 MICHELIN Guide. The Ritz-Carlton Tenerife, Abama has M.B, one of the island's two two-star kitchens, among eight restaurants. Royal Hideaway Corales Beach has the other, El Rincón de Juan Carlos, plus San Hô, with La Caleta on foot. Bahía del Duque has Nub and Kensei.

In Tenerife, eating well is mostly a south-west story. Costa Adeje has the best restaurants on the island outside Santa Cruz, La Caleta lines its seafront with fish restaurants, and the island's two two-star kitchens both sit inside hotels on this list, so here the hotel restaurant is the destination rather than the fallback.
The serious rooms open on set nights and book out, so reserve the tasting menus before you book the flights. Then choose by how you like to eat. The Ritz-Carlton Tenerife, Abama is a 160-hectare estate on the west coast with nothing walkable outside the gates, so its eight restaurants are the evening. Royal Hideaway Corales Beach is at La Caleta, so a starred menu one night and fish on the harbour front the next are both on foot. Bahía del Duque puts a starred room, a Japanese kitchen and a beach restaurant a step from Playa del Duque.
Food is what makes this a week you never need to leave. M.B is Martín Berasategui's room, run day to day by Erlantz Gorostiza, and its Basque-rooted tasting menus hold two stars in the 2026 MICHELIN Guide; it serves dinner from Wednesday to Saturday. Akira Back Tenerife, in the old Kabuki room, adds modern Japanese with Korean roots, and guests rate its dinners alongside M.B's.
The other six of the estate's eight restaurants cover the rest of the week: Txoko for Basque cooking, Verde Mar for vegetables, Verona, El Mirador on the cliff, La Veranda and The Beach Club. Verona, El Mirador and Txoko open every night, so even a Sunday has a proper table. Melvin, Berasategui's third Tenerife table, is 4 minutes away by car on the same estate. Unlike Royal Hideaway Corales Beach, it welcomes children too, with Ritz Kids for ages 4 to 12.

Retreat Deluxe Room Ocean View
50 m²
The same 50 square metres as a Citadel room, plus the Retreat's afternoon and sunset refreshments and the sea from the balcony: a calm drink before dinner at M.B.
Royal Hideaway Corales Beach has two starred kitchens in the building. El Rincón de Juan Carlos, the Padrón brothers' restaurant on the fifth floor, holds two stars in the 2026 MICHELIN Guide for a single creative Canarian tasting menu, served Monday to Friday. San Hô, Adrián Bosch's kitchen since 2020, kept its star in 2026 for Japanese, Peruvian and Canarian fusion, with counter seats facing the chefs and a garden terrace to the sea. Next door in Corales Suites, Il Bocconcino, Niki Pavanelli's modern Italian kitchen, holds a star in the 2026 guide too, and guests can book across both buildings.
Between the big nights, breakfast at NAO comes with every rate and is a guest favourite, the Royal Heaven Maresía bar sits on the roof beside the infinity pool, and La Caleta's harbour front, with its fish restaurants, is four to six minutes' walk from the door.

Junior Suite Sea Front Panoramic View
55 to 65 m²
Every suite shares the building with El Rincón and San Hô, so spend the step up on the terrace: the open sea from the third or fourth floor, for a drink before dinner.
Bahía del Duque eats like a small town. Nub, in Las Villas, kept its star in the 2026 MICHELIN Guide: Andrea Bernardi and Fernanda Fuentes Cárdenas cook two tasting menus that travel between Italy and Chile on Canarian produce, Novatore and the vegetarian Waywen, from Tuesday to Saturday. Kensei, beside the Garden Lake and listed in the 2026 guide, is Víctor Planas's contemporary Japanese kitchen, with a door of its own onto the promenade, and Upalupa sits on the beach, open daily from 12.30 to 11pm.
Around them are the rest of the hotel's ten restaurants, and Casas Ducales guests get afternoon tea and, every evening, canapés with drinks. Playa del Duque is across the promenade, so lunch can follow a swim, and El Rincón de Juan Carlos is 7 minutes away by car for a night off the estate.

Casas Ducales Double Room
30 to 35 m²
The entry room in the Casas Ducales wing, with its own breakfast terrace, afternoon tea from four and canapés with drinks from seven in the lounge.
The restored 1890 grand hotel has put its money into its tables: OKA for Japanese cooking, LAVA, an eighteen-cover tasting counter, and Amalur, the bistro that serves dinner every night, and guests praise the cooking across all three.

The best things to do in Tenerife, hand-picked
Hand-picked: only the best, one version of each, researched so you don’t have to.
Which hotels in Tenerife have Michelin-starred restaurants?
Three of ours. At The Ritz-Carlton Tenerife, Abama, M.B holds two stars in the 2026 MICHELIN Guide. At Royal Hideaway Corales Beach, El Rincón de Juan Carlos holds two and San Hô one, and Il Bocconcino, next door in Corales Suites, holds one more. At Bahía del Duque, Nub kept its star in 2026. M.B and El Rincón are the only two-star restaurants in the Canary Islands, and both are in Tenerife. Every one of them opens on set nights, so reserve before you fly.
Which nights are the starred restaurants at these hotels open?
Different ones, so plan the week around them. M.B at The Ritz-Carlton Tenerife, Abama serves dinner from Wednesday to Saturday. El Rincón de Juan Carlos at Royal Hideaway Corales Beach opens Monday to Friday, San Hô in the same building closes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and for a summer break, and Il Bocconcino next door opens Tuesday to Saturday. Nub at Bahía del Duque opens Tuesday to Saturday, 6pm to 9.30pm. Outside San Hô's summer break, Thursday and Friday are the nights all five are open.
Can you walk to restaurants from these hotels?
From Royal Hideaway Corales Beach, yes: La Caleta's harbour front is four to six minutes on foot, with Rosso Sul Mare for Italian and wine, Masía del Mar over the harbour, La Vieja for local fish and Restaurante La Caleta, serving since 1932. From Bahía del Duque, La Torre del Mirador, a seafood house in a Canarian tower, is 8 minutes on foot, and La Caleta's fish houses 8 by car. The Ritz-Carlton Tenerife, Abama is a drive for anything outside the gates, and parking is free; Melvin, Martín Berasategui's third Tenerife table, is 4 minutes away.
Can the tasting menus cater for vegetarians?
Choose the kitchen with care. Bahía del Duque's starred Nub serves Waywen, a vegetarian tasting menu, from Tuesday to Saturday, and The Ritz-Carlton Tenerife, Abama has Verde Mar, a kitchen built around vegetables, closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays. At Royal Hideaway Corales Beach, El Rincón de Juan Carlos serves one fixed menu that cannot be adapted for vegetarians or for fish and shellfish allergies, so book San Hô or the village for those nights.
Is breakfast included at these hotels?
At Royal Hideaway Corales Beach, yes: every rate includes breakfast at NAO, whose spread and waiters guests single out. At The Ritz-Carlton Tenerife, Abama and Bahía del Duque it depends on the rate, so check yours. Abama's La Veranda serves the buffet from 7.30 to 10.30 every day. At Bahía del Duque the buffet is El Bernegal, 7.30 to 10.30, and Casas Ducales guests order à la carte on their own terrace from 8.00 to 11.00.
How did you choose these hotels?
Independently, through extensive research, trusted sources and first-hand visits. Hotels cannot pay to be included, and every one of the ten has to exist for a different reason.
