The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, Bellagio, Caesars Palace and The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, all on the Center Strip. The Cosmopolitan is 5 minutes' walk from the Bellagio fountains, Bellagio has them outside the door, Caesars Palace is across Flamingo Road with the Forum Shops indoors, and The Venetian is 17 minutes away, with a covered bridge to Sphere.

On a map the Strip looks like one stroll; on foot it is long. From the Bellagio fountains The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is about 5 minutes away and The Venetian Resort Las Vegas 17, but Wynn Las Vegas is 25, so a trip without a car means staying in the middle. All four hotels here are on the Center Strip, within 17 minutes of the fountains. From the lakeside pavement, Paris Las Vegas is seven minutes away, the Forum Shops 12, the High Roller 16 and T-Mobile Arena 22, and footbridges with lifts cross the junctions.
Heat and size stretch the minutes. July averages 104.5°F (40.3°C) by day, so walk in the evening, and allow time inside these large resorts. The Deuce bus runs the Strip around the clock, $8 for 24 hours. Arrive by taxi, a flat fare of $26.25 to $30.25 from the airport to these four before fees and tip, and skip the $20 a day for self-parking.
The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas stands on the Strip between Bellagio and CityCenter, in the stretch that is busy at any hour. From its Strip entrance the pavement along the Bellagio lake is five minutes' walk, Caesars Palace 13, T-Mobile Arena 18 and the High Roller 19, and a covered bridge on the second floor leads through to Bellagio and Vdara.
Dinner needs no taxi. Earl of Sandwich, open 24 hours, is four minutes away, The Mayfair Supper Club and the Eiffel Tower Restaurant eight and Mon Ami Gabi nine, and the hotel's own list runs from é by José Andrés to China Poblano. The Monorail's Horseshoe / Paris station is 13 minutes away across the Boulevard, for the longer hops to the north and south ends.

Terrace Studio King Fountain View
620 sq ft (58 m²) plus a 110 sq ft (10 m²) terrace$258 a night
On the evenings your feet are done, the fountains come to you: a private terrace facing the Bellagio lake, and a bubbler tub inside.
Bellagio fills the corner of the Boulevard and Flamingo Road, set back behind its lake, and the fountains play in front of it every evening. From the main entrance, Paris Las Vegas and its Eiffel Tower are seven minutes on foot across the Boulevard and the Strip front of Caesars Palace 12, while the Conservatory and Dale Chihuly's glass flowers are just inside the door.
Further out the minutes add up, the High Roller 20 and T-Mobile Arena 24, and that is where the hotel's own tram earns its place: the free ARIA Express runs from Bellagio's station to ARIA and Park MGM, beside the arena, from 8am to midnight. The Monorail's Horseshoe / Paris station is a 15-minute walk across the Boulevard, and rideshares drop off at the porte cochère.

Spa Premier King
about 510 sq ft (47 m²)$395 a night
A soaking tub as well as the shower, for feet that have walked the Strip, in the Spa Tower room remodelled in 2023, at the entry price.
Caesars Palace sits at the Flamingo Road junction, with the Bellagio lake just across the road and The LINQ opposite. From the main entrance it is about seven minutes on foot to the LINQ Promenade, eight to the Eiffel Tower at Paris and 12 to the High Roller. Indoors, the Forum Shops add more than 160 boutiques and restaurants without a step outside, and The Colosseum is on site for the show.
The walk that matters most here is the one inside. The resort covers 85 acres around its casino, so sleep in the Augustus or the Octavius, the two southern towers near the lobby and the pools, and every outing starts shorter. For the Monorail, the Flamingo & Caesars Palace station is a nine-minute walk, across the Strip and through the Flamingo's casino.

Octavius Premium Room
550 sq ft (51 m²)$274 a night
550 sq ft in the Octavius, one of the two southern towers near the lobby and the pools, which cuts the walk through the resort; no renovation is announced there.
The Venetian Resort Las Vegas sits at the north end of the Center Strip, with Caesars Palace and the Forum Shops across the Boulevard. From the Rialto Bridge, the High Roller is 12 minutes on foot and the Bellagio fountains 17. Behind the resort, a covered, air-conditioned footbridge through the Expo halls takes you to Sphere for most shows, and inside are the Grand Canal, its shops, more than 40 restaurants and the pool deck.
Allow for the size. Both towers sit a long indoor walk back from the street, so set off early for a show or a table. In Formula 1 week in 2025, when the roads around the resort began closing at 1pm on each race day, the footbridges stayed open around the clock: on foot is the easy way about.

SAHARA Las Vegas has its own Monorail station, reached by a walkway from inside the resort, with a train every four to eight minutes and Horseshoe/Paris, the stop for the centre Strip, 11 minutes down the line.

Questions people ask
Good questions about Las Vegas
Can you walk the Las Vegas Strip?
The middle of it, yes. From the Bellagio fountains, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is about 5 minutes on foot and The Venetian Resort Las Vegas 17, Caesars Palace is just across Flamingo Road, and footbridges with a lift and an escalator cross the main junctions. The ends are another matter: Wynn Las Vegas is 25 minutes from the fountains, and Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas, at the south end, to SAHARA Las Vegas, at the north, is about 90. In July, when days average 104.5°F (40.3°C), walk in the evening, and use the Deuce bus, which runs the Strip around the clock, for anything further.
Do you need a car in Las Vegas?
Not if you stay on the Center Strip. Taxis charge flat fares from the airport: $26.25 to Bellagio and The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas and $30.25 to Caesars Palace and The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, plus a $2.40 airport fee, and Uber and Lyft pick up in the terminal garages. All four charge $20 a day to self-park. A car earns its keep at Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa, where parking is free and the canyon is a drive away, or for a day at the Hoover Dam, about 53 minutes from the fountains.
Is the Las Vegas Monorail worth using?
For the longer hops, yes. It runs about 4 miles behind the east-side resorts, from SAHARA Las Vegas to the MGM Grand, every 4 to 8 minutes, at $6.25 a ride or $15.50 for a day, until midnight on Mondays, 2am from Tuesday to Thursday and 3am from Friday to Sunday. Caesars Palace is about 9 minutes' walk from the Flamingo & Caesars Palace station, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas 13 and Bellagio 15 from Horseshoe/Paris, and The Venetian Resort Las Vegas uses the Harrah's & The LINQ station. Between the four central hotels, walk.
How do you get to Sphere and T-Mobile Arena on foot?
Sphere is easiest from The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, linked to it for most shows by a covered footbridge through the Expo halls; from Caesars Palace it is about 25 minutes on foot and from The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas 31. T-Mobile Arena is 18 minutes from The Cosmopolitan and 24 from Bellagio's main entrance, or ride the free ARIA Express tram from Bellagio to Park MGM, beside the arena, from 8am to midnight.
Is Las Vegas walkable in summer?
In the evening, and indoors. July averages 104.5°F (40.3°C) by day and 82°F (27.8°C) at night, and a normal year has 78 days of 100°F (37.8°C) or more. The central hotels keep you out of the sun: The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas has a covered bridge through to Bellagio, the Forum Shops connect to Caesars Palace indoors, and The Venetian Resort Las Vegas has its covered footbridge to Sphere. The fountains play every 15 minutes from 8pm to midnight, which is the time to walk the lake front.
How did you choose these hotels?
Independently, through extensive research, trusted sources and first-hand visits. Hotels cannot pay to be included, and every one of the ten has to exist for a different reason.
