What we looked for

Eight of our ten make this list, and in Las Vegas the spas are built on the scale of the hotels: Canyon Ranch at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas covers 134,000 sq ft, Lapis at Fontainebleau Las Vegas and the Bellagio Spa 55,000 each, and Qua at Caesars Palace about 50,000. Bellagio's is closed for a remodel and due to reopen in November 2026.

Two things decide the choice. The first is the casino. Every hotel here but one has a gaming floor, where Nevada law still allows smoking; Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas has none. The second is how you get into the heat rooms, because the resort fee does not pay for them. At most of these spas a booked treatment does, and without one, hotel guests buy a day pass: $100 from Monday to Thursday at Canyon Ranch and at Sahra, in The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. And the steam rooms and saunas work in January as well as in July.

Fontainebleau Las Vegas: The Oasis pool below the blue-glass towerThe new one

1 / 8

Fontainebleau Las Vegas

North Strip, Las Vegas

Fontainebleau Las Vegas gives its spa two floors and 55,000 sq ft, and the thermal side is the draw. A session at Lapis Spa & Wellness, mornings from 10am to 1pm or afternoons from 2pm to 5pm, opens the vitality pools and cold-plunge pools, a steam room, an infrared sauna, a Himalayan salt room, star and snow showers and heated tepidarium chairs, and an Aufguss sauna show runs on the hour through both. From Friday to Sunday the spa and its treatments are kept for hotel guests, so a weekend here belongs to the people staying.

The thermal floor is a paid pass, the Celestial Waters Passport, and treatments are extra, so put both in the budget. From spring to autumn the six-acre pool deck fills the hours after.

Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas: The guests-only pool in its palm gardenThe quiet luxury one

2 / 8

Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas

South Strip, Las Vegas

Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas is the spa stay that keeps the casino out of it. The hotel has no gaming floor and no smoking indoors, its lifts serve only its own floors, and The Spa and Nail Bar, rated Forbes Five-Star for 2026, sits in the hotel's own two-storey building beside its guests-only pool. Treatments run daily from 8am to 7pm: massages, including a warm candle massage, body and skin therapies, a nail bar and 30-minute stretching sessions, with eucalyptus steam rooms and a relaxation lounge to stay in afterwards, and the gym is open around the clock.

The rest of the day stays calm too. The pool, with a hot tub and eight cabanas, reopens each March, and with Bourbon Steak for dinner, Veranda for breakfast and in-room dining around the clock, a spa weekend need not cross Mandalay Bay's casino at all.

Wynn Las Vegas: The atrium, its trees hung with flower ballsThe grand one

3 / 8

Wynn Las Vegas

North Strip, Las Vegas

Wynn Las Vegas had the first Forbes Five-Star spa in the city, and The Spa at Wynn still holds the rating in 2026, alongside the Tower Suites and Wing Lei. It was reimagined in 2019 in a contemporary style meant to evoke nightfall, with a sauna, a steam room, a whirlpool and a co-ed tranquillity lounge, and couples' treatment rooms. It opens daily from 7am to 7pm, with treatments from 8am, for guests aged 18 and over.

A booked treatment brings the use of the sauna, steam room and lounge with it; passes are also sold when there is space. The rest of the day is easy to fill without leaving: the pool in the afternoon, the Lake of Dreams show from dusk and Wing Lei for dinner from Thursday to Monday.

It keeps the entry room's 640 sq ft but moves you into the Five-Star Tower Suites, which have their own entrance, lifts and private pool deck and twice-daily housekeeping, so the whole stay matches the spa.

Every room, and why

Ask for a non-smoking floor when you book, and again at check-in.

Caesars Palace: The fountains and towers of Caesars Palace at duskThe classic

4 / 8

Caesars Palace

Center Strip, Las Vegas

Caesars Palace gives its spa the Roman treatment. Qua Baths & Spa covers about 50,000 sq ft, and its centrepiece is the Roman Baths, alongside a cedarwood sauna, an herbal steam room and an Arctic Ice Room, so a visit moves between hot and cold the way a bathhouse should. The baths are separate for men and women and clothing-optional, and phones stay in the locker, which keeps the spa calm in a resort of 3,980 rooms. Everyone must be 18 or over.

Book a treatment, from a hot-stone massage to a 24-karat gold facial, and the baths, sauna, steam room and ice room are yours for three hours at no extra charge; day passes are sold when there is room. From March to October the Garden of the Gods pools take care of the afternoon.

The Venetian Resort Las Vegas: A gondola on the Grand Canal under a painted skyThe all-rounder

5 / 8

The Venetian Resort Las Vegas

Center Strip, Las Vegas

The Venetian Resort Las Vegas has a wellness club as much as a spa. Canyon Ranch Spa + Fitness covers 134,000 sq ft, with the Aquavana thermal suite, co-ed rooms called the Wave Room, the Conservatory and the Salt Grotto, shared whirlpools and saunas, and a gym with a 40-foot climbing wall. The spa opens from 6am to 8pm, and full access is for guests aged 18 and over.

The resort fee covers the gym for two. A treatment of $100 or more usually adds the thermal suite and the relaxation lounges at no extra charge, and a day pass covers the lot without one. In the rooms, the remodelled Luxury King and Luxury Two Queen suites have a 130 sq ft marble bathroom with a Roman tub and a separate shower, and the pool deck's four heated pools are open all year, so a winter spa break works here.

The room to book

Newly Remodeled Luxury King Suite

The entry suite already has the 130 sq ft marble bathroom with a Roman tub and a separate shower, so spend the difference at Canyon Ranch rather than on a view.

Every room, and why

Plan the spa day from Monday to Thursday, when a hotel guest's day pass is $100 rather than $150.

Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa: The pool area from above at duskThe escape

6 / 8

Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa

Summerlin, Las Vegas

Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa puts the spa next to the reason for staying out here. Red Rock Canyon's scenic drive is 12 minutes away by car, so the day can be a morning hike and an afternoon at The Spa at Red Rock: 25,000 sq ft with a steam room, a sauna, a cold plunge, a whirlpool and an outdoor spa pool, open daily from 8am to 8pm for guests aged 18 and over. Book a treatment, from $170 for a 50-minute weekday massage, and the heat rooms and the spa pool come with it.

Arriving is easy. Parking, self and valet, is free, and the hotel and spa entrance on South Pavilion Center Drive has its own valet stand. The 3-acre pool area is open all year on day hours, and every Luxury room has a soaking tub.

Bellagio: The hotel and its fountains at sunsetThe icon

Bellagio

Center Strip, Las Vegas

Bellagio is here for the spa it is about to have again. The 55,000 sq ft Bellagio Spa closed in March 2026 for a remodel and is due to reopen in November 2026. Until then, treatments are given on the fourth floor of the Spa Tower or in your room, without the steam room, sauna, hot tubs or relaxation area, and the gym has moved to the Promenade Shops.

The rooms already suit a restful stay. The Restore rooms add air and water purification, circadian lighting and a vitamin C shower infuser, with a dawn simulator on request, and the Spa Premier rooms, in the Spa Tower remodelled in 2023, add a soaking tub at the entry price. The pool courtyard is open all year, and from 8pm to midnight the fountains play every 15 minutes.

Before you book a treatment, check that the new spa has reopened; until it does, Sahra at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is next door, across a covered bridge.

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas

Center Strip, Las Vegas

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas builds its spa around a hammam. Sahra Spa, Salon & Hammam covers 43,000 sq ft, and its hammam gathers detox and steam treatments around a heated motherstone, with dual soaking tubs, steam rooms and stone loungers. The facilities open daily from 8am to 6pm and treatments from 9am, for guests aged 18 and over.

Any treatment of $120 or more includes the spa and the fitness centre; without one, hotel guests can buy a day pass from the spa concierge. The rooms carry the theme on: the Terrace Studios have a full-size bubbler tub, and the Terrace One Bedroom Suites a Japanese soaking tub, each behind a private terrace. Afterwards, the Chelsea Pool is the calmest of the hotel's three.

Questions people ask

Good questions about Las Vegas

Which Las Vegas spas have a thermal circuit?

Several of ours. A session at Lapis Spa & Wellness, at Fontainebleau Las Vegas, opens vitality and cold-plunge pools, a steam room, an infrared sauna, a salt room and hourly Aufguss shows. Qua, at Caesars Palace, has its Roman Baths, a cedarwood sauna, an herbal steam room and an Arctic Ice Room. Canyon Ranch, at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, has the Aquavana thermal suite, a salt grotto, whirlpools and saunas. Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa adds a cold plunge and an outdoor spa pool to its steam room and sauna, and The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas has a hammam.

Is the spa included in the Las Vegas resort fee?

No. On this list the resort fee covers the gym at most, never the spa. A booked treatment usually opens the heat rooms instead. At Qua, in Caesars Palace, it brings three hours in the baths; at Canyon Ranch, in The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, a treatment of $100 or more usually includes the thermal suite; at Sahra, in The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, one of $120 or more includes the spa. Wynn Las Vegas and Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa work the same way. At Canyon Ranch and Sahra, hotel guests can also buy a day pass, $100 from Monday to Thursday and $150 from Friday to Sunday.

How old do you have to be to use a Las Vegas spa?

18 at most of them. The Spa at Wynn, Qua at Caesars Palace, Sahra at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas and The Spa at Red Rock all set 18 as the minimum. Canyon Ranch, at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, gives full access from 18 and welcomes 14 to 17-year-olds for a treatment with a parent or guardian. Bring photo ID: Qua asks every guest to show it.

Is the Bellagio spa open?

Not yet. The 55,000 sq ft Bellagio Spa closed in March 2026 for a remodel and is due to reopen in November 2026. Until then, Bellagio offers treatments on the fourth floor of its Spa Tower or in your room, without the steam room, sauna or hot tubs, and its gym is at the Promenade Shops, open from 5am to 7pm. Next door, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas has Sahra, with its hammam, and a covered bridge on the second floor links the two resorts.

Which Las Vegas spa hotel has no casino?

Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas. It has no casino of its own and no smoking indoors, and its lifts serve only its floors, on 35 to 39 of Mandalay Bay's tower. The Spa and Nail Bar, rated Forbes Five-Star for 2026, sits in the hotel's own building beside its guests-only pool, with eucalyptus steam rooms and treatments from 8am to 7pm. Every other hotel on this list has a casino floor, where Nevada law still allows smoking, though not in restaurants, lobbies or hallways.

How did you choose these hotels?

Independently, through extensive research, trusted sources and first-hand visits. Hotels cannot pay to be included, and every one of the ten has to exist for a different reason.
