Wynn Las Vegas
North Strip, Las Vegas
Wynn Las Vegas has 14 restaurants of its own, and three are worth planning a trip around. Wing Lei is a gold and jade dining room looking onto a garden of century-old pomegranate trees, where Chef Tam Kwok Fung of the two-star Chef Tam's Seasons in Macau directs Cantonese, Shanghainese and Sichuan cooking, and the Imperial Peking duck, carved beside you, is the dish to order. It holds a Forbes Five-Star rating, and its star in Michelin's first Las Vegas guide, for 2008, was the first for a Chinese restaurant in North America. It serves dinner Thursday to Monday.
SW Steakhouse has the patio at the edge of the Lake of Dreams, with the show every half hour from dusk, and Mark LoRusso, here since the 2005 opening, dry-ages cuts in house. Delilah is a 1950s-style supper club with singers and musicians through dinner and a late menu until 1am from Thursday to Saturday.
