Where to eat at and around Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

The Grand Floridian keeps its best tables in the house. Victoria & Albert's, with a MICHELIN star, serves one seating a night from Tuesday to Saturday; Cítricos, in the MICHELIN Guide, and Narcoossee's, on the lagoon, serve dinner from 5pm to 9:30pm; 1900 Park Fare is the character buffet at breakfast and dinner; and Gasparilla Island Grill, the counter by the marina, is open from 6am to midnight. For a drink there are The Perch in the lobby, the Enchanted Rose, themed on Beauty and the Beast, the Cítricos Lounge and afternoon tea in the Garden View Lounge. Nothing else is within ten minutes on foot. The Polynesian is 12 to 18 minutes away along the lagoon path, or 4 minutes by car, and the Resort Monorail brings you back in one stop; California Grill at the Contemporary is two monorail stops away, by way of Magic Kingdom; Disney Springs is a Disney bus ride, or 16 to 18 minutes by car with the roads clear.

Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa: The dome and harp at Victoria & Albert's

Victoria & Albert's

One Michelin starChef Matthew SowersContemporary American tasting menus under a domed ceiling, with a harpistDinner onlySemi-formal to formal

The table that justifies an evening away from the parks. The dining room sits under a rotunda dome, with garden-themed Victorian murals and a harpist, and there is one seating a night, Tuesday to Saturday, for a choice of two tasting menus, with more than 500 wines and zero-proof pairings beside them. It became the first Disney restaurant to win a MICHELIN star in 2024 and kept it in 2026, for a three-hour meal of classical technique with ideas from Asia to the Nordics. The Chef's Table in the kitchen and Queen Victoria's Room are the more private versions. Book as soon as the 60-day window opens, dress semi-formal to formal, and leave children under 10 behind; cancelling inside five days costs $100 a head.

Cítricos

Michelin recommendedCoastal American cooking with citrus and seafood, in a room inspired by Mary Poppins ReturnsDinner only

The easier booking upstairs on the main building's second floor, and a MICHELIN-selected one: a seasonal coastal American menu built on seafood, citrus and tropical fruit, in a room whose decor nods to Mary Poppins Returns. It serves dinner every night from 5pm to 9:30pm, and the lounge beside it pours international wines and cocktails. Worth a reservation for a grown-up evening that does not need the ceremony of Victoria & Albert's.

Our verdict

Book the Grand Floridian to ride the monorail one stop to Magic Kingdom and end the day with the fireworks over the lagoon. Pay for a Theme Park View room if the fireworks are the point, and plan on Disney buses for the other parks.
