Breakfast
Breakfast is a buffet at Bella Lucía, the restaurant at the heart of the hotel, with a terrace facing the sea and much of the produce from the hotel's farm at Uga and small Lanzarote producers. The rates on the which-room page all include it. From the Junior Suite Relax Sea View upwards, breakfast can instead be served à la carte in the room every morning, booked in advance. The hotel does not publish breakfast hours, so ask at check-in. Pitaya, the hotel's juice bar, does fresh juices. Outside, the earliest of the places above is La Cofradía La Tiñosa on the Varadero, ten minutes along the front, open from 07:00 for coffee by the boats.
What to skip
Casa Roja, long the recommended fish restaurant at the old harbour, has closed for good, and so has La Lonja on the Varadero; older guides still list both. La Cofradía La Tiñosa and Puerto Bahía are on the same waterfront.
