Lanzarote's adults-only hotels split by setting more than by price. Two are on the coast with resort pools and a programme of restaurants: Paradisus Salinas Lanzarote at Costa Teguise, on the windy east coast, and Secrets Lanzarote Resort & Spa at Puerto Calero, a marina with quiet evenings and a rocky shore. La Isla y el Mar Hotel Boutique sits on the hill above Puerto del Carmen, with the beaches and the harbour restaurants a walk downhill. Hotel César Lanzarote is inland at La Asomada, between the vines and the sea, with 20 rooms and nothing to walk to.
Check the age before you book: 16 and over at Paradisus Salinas and César Lanzarote, 18 and over at Secrets. Then choose by how you want to eat, because the board differs: all-inclusive only at Paradisus, breakfast on every rate at César Lanzarote, breakfast with half board above it at La Isla y el Mar, and breakfast, half board or all-inclusive at Secrets.
Paradisus Salinas Lanzarote has been adults only, 16 and over, since it reopened in 2023 after a refit of about €15 million. The setting is César Manrique's: an atrium water garden under the octagon, his murals in the lobby bar, and a 1,800 m² seawater lagoon pool curling between basalt and whitewashed walls, inside Fernando Higueras's terraced building. The gardens open onto the shore, with Las Cucharas 3 minutes' walk along the front.
Everyone is on all-inclusive, so the day runs without a bill: breakfast, lunch and dinner at Malva Food Bazaar, and three à la carte restaurants, La Graciosa for fish and island cooking, Samira and Cappella, to book for dinner. Guests can join the hotel's own guided tour of Manrique's work. For a quieter pool and its own bar, The Reserve is the hotel within the hotel.
The room to book
Premium Ocean Front
about 32 m²€490 a night
The 32 m² room turned to the Atlantic, with windows that keep the sea in view from the bed; Manrique's gardens are downstairs for every guest anyway.
Hotel César Lanzarote is the smallest of the four: 20 rooms for guests of 16 and over in a former Manrique family house at La Asomada, on the hillside where La Geria's vines run down towards the Atlantic. It holds One MICHELIN Key in the 2026 guide. From the pool the view runs down the slope to the coast, a pool restaurant and a terrace bar are kept for residents, and massages take place in the old water cisterns, the aljibes.
At night César Restaurant serves Gonzalo Calzadilla's tasting menus of 13 and 10 courses, built on island fish and garden produce, with a revived vineyard on the estate. Breakfast is on every rate. It is a couple's house for three or four nights, with a car: Puerto Calero's marina and Playa Grande are short drives, and Timanfaya's Islote de Hilario is 24 minutes away.

Superior Room with Terrace and Sea View
about 30 m², plus a 15 m² terrace€523 a night

Secrets Lanzarote Resort & Spa takes guests of 18 and over only. At the western edge of Puerto Calero, its low white wings and pool terraces step down towards the sea, and it is built for long, quiet days: four heated outdoor pools, one of them for the Preferred Club, and an indoor hydrotherapy hall with a 14 m dynamic pool, Jacuzzis, a sauna, a steam bath and an ice fountain.
In the evening there are six restaurants, none needing a reservation, from Gohan's sushi to Oceana's seafood, and a piano bar with live music. The marina promenade is 14 minutes on foot. The spa circuit is charged on every board, from €30 an hour to €95 for the whole stay, so take the stay pass if you will use it most days.

Double Ocean View
about 30 m²€259 a night
The same 30 m² room and terrace as the entry Double, turned to the Atlantic, which is what you look at between the spa and the pool.
La Isla y el Mar Hotel Boutique takes no children, and all 81 rooms are suites: 50 m² at the smallest, each with a king-size bed, a sitting area and a terrace or balcony. It began as a 1970s apartment complex and was rebuilt in 2015 behind walls of volcanic stone, among palms and boulders on the hill above Puerto del Carmen.
The day stays calm: a heated pool open all year, with a waterfall and hydromassage jets and a pool bar, a wellness centre with a sauna and a hot tub, and yoga on Tuesday mornings. Breakfast is included, cooked to order alongside the buffet. Kentia Gourmet Club serves tasting menus of island produce with Canary Island wines, and the fish restaurants of the old harbour are about eight minutes down on foot. Two suite types add a private hot tub on the terrace.

Good questions about Lanzarote
What is the minimum age at Lanzarote's adults-only hotels?
Is there an adults-only all-inclusive in Lanzarote?
Yes, two of ours. Paradisus Salinas Lanzarote, for 16 and over, sells all-inclusive only: the buffet and three à la carte restaurants to book for dinner, though drinks at the Beach Bar cost extra. Secrets Lanzarote Resort & Spa, for 18 and over, sells its Unlimited-Luxury all-inclusive alongside breakfast and half-board rates; on the all-inclusive, Oceana, Portofino, Gohan and the Barefoot Grill are included without reservations. At Secrets the spa circuit costs extra on every board.
Which adults-only hotel in Lanzarote is closest to a beach?
Paradisus Salinas Lanzarote, whose gardens open onto the shore at Costa Teguise; Playa de las Cucharas, fine golden sand with lifeguards, begins 3 minutes' walk along the front, though it is a windy, windsurfing beach. From La Isla y el Mar Hotel Boutique, Playa Chica is about ten minutes downhill and Playa Grande about 15. Secrets Lanzarote Resort & Spa sits above a rocky shore, with Playa Grande 13 minutes by car, and Hotel César Lanzarote is inland, 12 minutes by car from Playa Grande.
Which adults-only hotels in Lanzarote have a spa?
Secrets Lanzarote Resort & Spa is the one built around it: an indoor hydrotherapy hall with a 14 m dynamic pool, Jacuzzis, a sauna, a steam bath and an ice fountain, and ten treatment rooms, open daily from 10:00 to 20:00. The circuit is paid separately, €30 an hour, €70 a day or €95 a stay. La Isla y el Mar Hotel Boutique has a wellness centre with a sauna and a hot tub, Paradisus Salinas Lanzarote a Wellness & Beauty Centre for treatments, and Hotel César Lanzarote gives massages in its old water cisterns.
Do I need a car at an adults-only hotel in Lanzarote?
At Hotel César Lanzarote, yes: nothing is in walking distance, and parking is free. At Secrets Lanzarote Resort & Spa it helps, since the beaches and Timanfaya are drives, though the marina is 14 minutes on foot. At La Isla y el Mar Hotel Boutique you can do without one: lines 161 and 162 from the airport stop two minutes from the door, and the harbour is a walk. Paradisus Salinas Lanzarote is on bus lines 1 and 3, to Arrecife and Puerto del Carmen.
How did you choose these hotels?
Independently, through extensive research, trusted sources and first-hand visits. Hotels cannot pay to be included, and every one of the ten has to exist for a different reason.
